If you’ve listened to mainstream media in its’ pronouncements regarding the war in Ukraine you have been mislead and played the fool. It is not what we are told. It has been widely reported that the Russian move into Ukraine was “Unprovoked.” That is NOT the truth. So, let’s begin to unwrap the situation.
To understand the war in Ukraine and the reason for what Moscow calls the “Special Military Operation,” we’ve got to go back to the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Empire. Here’s an explanation from a 2016 article in the Los Angeles Times.
“After the Berlin Wall fell, Europe’s regional order hinged on the question of whether a reunified Germany would be aligned with the United States (and NATO), the Soviet Union (and the Warsaw Pact) or neither. Policymakers in the George H.W. Bush administration decided in early 1990 that NATO should include the reconstituted German republic. In early February 1990, U.S. leaders made the Soviets an offer. According to transcripts of meetings in Moscow on Feb. 9, then-Secretary of State James Baker suggested that in exchange for cooperation on Germany, U.S. could make ‘iron-clad guarantees’ that NATO would not expand ‘one inch eastward.’ Less than a week later, Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to begin reunification talks. No formal deal was struck, but from all the evidence, the quid pro quo was clear: Gorbachev acceded to Germany’s western alignment and the U.S. would limit NATO’s expansion.”[i]
Here’s the title of the article written by Joshua R. Itzkowitz Shifrinson: Russia’s got a point: The U.S. broke a NATO promise. And here’s how that played out. The NATO move to the east started with the granting of the former East Germany – now a part of Germany proper, “Special Military Status.” From that point on the Neocons in Washington continued to set up Eastern Europe as a protected bailiwick of the United States. Disregarding the promise to the Russians, NATO added Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary in 1999 – all former members of the Soviet Bloc. In 2004 it was Slovenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia. Croatia and Albania joined in 2009. North Macedonia and Montenegro were picked up along the way. They had all been members of the Moscow controlled Warsaw Pact. Within the last year Finland and Sweden joined up.[ii] And then there is the problem of Ukraine.
That nation’s membership in NATO has been on the table for a long time. Here’s the issue. The US wants a base on Russia’s border. Ukraine could house American missiles that would sit just 5 minutes from Moscow and about 7 minutes from Russia’s strategic nuclear arsenal. It would also put hostile forces on Russia’s border. It was Moscow’s attempt to put Russian missiles in Cuba back in 1962 that almost triggered nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. It was unacceptable to Kennedy back then. The current situation is Missile Crisis reversed. All the way back in 2007, Putin reminded the United States of its’ promise not to expand NATO to the east. His message was essentially this: ‘Don’t even think about Ukraine!’ At first President Bush (Jr) agreed not to expand and then – under neocon pressure reversed himself. At the NATO summit in 2008 the US put pressure on the reluctant Europeans to approve an eventual expansion into the country. They wanted – and still want – bases in Ukraine.[iii]
But the Ukrainian people were not too keen on the idea. They didn’t want to become a pawn between Russia and the West. So, they elected – legitimately elected – Viktor Yanukovych as president, who promised to steer a neutral course between the two sides. He was ousted when he rejected a deal with the European Union. Mass protests broke out – or rather – they were ginned-up by Soros groups and American intel operatives. Roof-top snipers shot dozens of people on both sides, which really got the fire going.
– Despite what you’ve likely been fed by the mainstream media, the developing Ukrainian crisis was set in motion in 2014 when America got involved in supporting the ouster of the duly-elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych. Apparently, the Deep Staters of the State Department thought it would be a good idea to poke-the-bear, Russia, by helping to engineer a revolution that brought to power a coalition dominated by far-right, anti-Russian elements. Senator John McCain was a part of this nonsense to the point of supporting – and being photographed with the far-right Svoboda party, which did not even try to hide their Nazi sympathies. “The party was registered in 1995, initially called the Social National Party of Ukraine and using a swastika style logo.” In fairness, they did for a while, banish their most virulent Nazi sympathizers, but later came to speak out in language that condemned “Germans, Kikes and other scum who wanted to take away our Ukrainian state.”[iv] Just to put this in context: The plan for the overthrow of Yanukovych was part of a more comprehensive plan toward gaining power in several strategic theaters. Here’s a quote from Modern Diplomacy. “The network behind this coup had actually started planning for the coup back in 2011. That’s when Eric Schmidt of Google, and Jared Cohen, also now of Google but still continuing though unofficially as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s chief person tasked to plan ‘popular movements’ to overthrow both Yanukovych in Ukraine, and Assad in Syria.”[v]
Jeffrey Sachs puts it this way. The Neocons felt they were in charge and America was the lone superpower. So, “The US can do whatever it wants!” That was revealed by General Wesley Clark, a few years before – and right after 911. In a 2007 interview on the program Democracy Now, Clark revealed how the contents of a Pentagon memo was shared with him in the months following the 911 attacks. (General Clark was retired at the time.) In that memo it was revealed that the Pentagon had plans to go to war with seven countries in just five years. Here’s the list of countries. Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finally, Iran. The idea was to remake the region in the image the globalists wanted.[vi] It is hardly coincidence that when nations fall to Western / US pressure they become part of the Rothschild owned-or-controlled central banking system. According to the website HumansAreFree, the only countries outside the system in 2018 were Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Syria.[vii]
Getting back to Ukraine. Notice that General Clark’s said the memo talked about using “popular movements” to overthrow governments. That’s the business the Globalists are in. So, that is what the Globalists who controlled the State Department and the Pentagon did. It was “Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland, who pushed for the Ukraine coup and helped pick the post-coup leaders.” It was she who engineered the coup, using neo-Nazis in key roles. “The New York Times and The Washington Post, twisted their reporting into all kinds of contortions to avoid telling their readers that the new regime in Kiev was permeated by and dependent on neo-Nazi fighters and Ukrainian ultra-nationalists who wanted a pure-blood Ukraine, without ethnic Russians.” What followed was a military campaign waged by the neo-Nazia – and now joined by Islamic Jihadists against the ethnically Russian population in eastern Ukraine.[viii]
That’s the background story of the Ukrainian War. What followed was the Minsk Agreements that were to bring safety to Ukraine’s ethnically Russian populations. It didn’t. And we’ve reported in the past how German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that the West never intended to abide by Minsk. Its’ intention was only to serve to buy time to build up the Ukrainian military to face Russia in a Western backed war. That is why all Russian attempts to achieve a peaceful solution were rejected by Ukraine and its’ puppet masters in the West. This was true before the Russian invasion, in the early weeks of the conflict and just this last week.
