INFLUENZA vs CORONAVIRUS 19 – There’s a lot of talk out there on both sides of this issue. Some are saying that the Coronavirus is more of a danger because it is more deadly than the regular every-year flu. Others cite statistics that show that the flu has killed so many more people than Corona. Therefore, this Corona-panic is overblown and possibly much-ado about, well, if not nothing, then very little. Let’s look at some numbers.
Here’s this from Rachel Rettner in Live Science. “So far, the new coronavirus has led to more than 89,000 illnesses and 3,000 deaths worldwide. But that’s nothing compared with the flu, also called influenza. In the U.S. alone, the flu has caused an estimated 32 million illnesses, 310,000 hospitalizations and 18,000 deaths this season, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”[i] However, now the World Health Organization has upped their estimate of the mortality rate for the Coronavirus from 2% to 3.4%. So, let’s run the numbers on the above paragraph and see where that leaves us. So take the 18,000 from the flu and divide that by the 32 million cases of influenza and you get the death rate from the flu. It comes out to less than one-tenth of one percent. With a death rate of 3.4%, the Covid 19 is more than 34 times more lethal than the flu. According to US News and World Report: “The new coronavirus is more infectious than the flu and appears to strike with much more severity in certain vulnerable groups.” The article went on to note how milder cases of the Coronavirus have been missed – which could drive down the death rate from the WHO estimate.[ii] Michael Snyder points out, “Here in the United States, the death rate is running well above 3.4 percent so far. Out of 118 confirmed cases, nine victims have died so far”[iii] That number comes out to about 7.6%. Now some experts are saying that Corona could infect 40% to 70% of the world’s population. So let’s do just a little more math and see what those numbers might mean to the United States. America’s population stands at about 330 million. Assume the lower number, that 40% become infected. At a 3.4% mortality rate that would mean that about 4,488,000 Americans would die. Take that up to 70% of infections and your death toll goes to about 7,850,000. Yeah, the seasonal flu has killed a lot more people than the Corona virus….right now. But the potential is there for a devastating death toll with Covid-19. And an exercise by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, completed just 2 months before the outbreak of Covid predicted 65 million deaths worldwide. Interesting, isn’t it?
COVID-19: THE END GAME – Brandon Smith of Alt-Market was one of my favorite sources in during the economic crisis of 2007-2009. I’ve come to some of the same conclusions – but he does it so nicely that I’ll be quoting copiously from him. Because you see, there is an End Game, and that is the establishment of a New World Order.
Now it is no secret that the world economy has been hovering on the edge of a major catastrophe for some time now, just waiting for the right (wrong) event to push it over that edge. Perhaps, Covid-19 will be that event. “The Baltic Dry Index a measure of shipping rates as well as global demand for goods, has essentially collapsed.” And the dangers of the virus have been purposely underestimated and underreported. Brandon Smith writes, “for the past two months there has been a conspiracy to downplay the danger and keep as many people as possible passive and unprepared. Governments and the media have changed their tune in the past week because the threat can no longer be hidden.” Governments however will continue to downplay the threat. The reason for that is “they don’t care about ‘panic,’ they care about control….The biggest threat may not be the virus but the subsequent economic crash as supply lines are cut off.” And as the crisis worsens we can expect that our sources of alternate news that is attempting to keep reporting on these things honest will be shut down in the name of stamping out fake news.
Brandon Smith believes he can see how this will likely play out. The crash that is coming is bigger than stock markets or even national economies. This involves the entire global supply chain; in other words, how the world does business. If this really blows, no amount of stimulus or central bank intervention will be able to stave it off.[iv]
Smith offers this. “Best case scenario is that the Western world is mostly unscathed by the virus itself but the economic supply chain suffers major setbacks. The global economy….is finally tipped over the edge. The massive Everything Bubble, fueled by a decade of inflationary central bank stimulus, implodes. Governments respond with totalitarian measures in the name of ‘protecting the public.’ Globalist institutions like the IMF step in and suggest that frail national monetary systems come under the management of their Special Drawing Rights basket in order to mitigate the debt crisis. Essentially, this is the first step to global governance.”
“Worst case scenario, the virus, the virus spreads throughout the US and Europe and governments respond the same way China’s government has; martial law and full-blown concentration camp culture. This would lead to civil war in the US because we are armed and many people will shoot anyone trying to put us into quarantine camps. ….The establishment then suggests that paper money be removed from the system because it is a viral spreader. China is already pushing this solution now. Magically, we find ourselves in a cashless society in a matter of a year or two; which is what the globalists have been demanding for years. Everything goes digital, and thus even local economies become completely centralized as private trade dies. Revelation 13:16-17 describes a time when the False Prophet will set up a system of world government for the Antichrist. [The ‘He” here, refers to the False Prophet.] “He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.” (NLT)
