The last few weeks we have been introduced to cryptocurrency, discussed the failing economy and we learned about Jubilee Years. This week we will briefly examine the trade war between China and the United States and come to a conclusion, speculating what’s to come as we approach the one world currency used by both small and great.
Ezekiel 17:3-8 “…A great eagle with large wings and long pinions, full of feathers of various colors, came to Lebanon and took from the cedar the highest branch. He cropped off its topmost young twig and carried it to a land of trade; he set it in a city of merchants. Then he took some of the seed of the land and planted it in a fertile field; he placed it by abundant waters and set it like a willow tree. And it grew and became a spreading vine of low stature; its branches turned toward him, but its roots were under it. So it became a vine, brought forth branches and put forth shoots. But there was another great eagle with large wings and many feathers; and behold, this vine bent its roots toward him, and stretched its branches toward him, from the garden terrace where it had been planted, That he might water it. It was planted in good soil by many waters, to bring forth branches, bear fruit and become majestic vine.”
When this word came to Ezekiel it was concerning two powerful nations referred to as great eagles, Egypt and Babylon. This parable was meant to show the people of Israel the foolishness of looking to human solutions. The vine is a common biblical image for God’s people. In this parable God’s people are planted in one nation but drawn towards another. God intended for the people of Israel to be in subjection to Babylon according to His will. It was God’s plan for Israel to be a tree of low stature with spreading vines. The second eagle represents Egypt. God did not want his people to turn to Egypt. Israel desired Egypt’s “water” that would allow the vine to bear fruit and become majestic. The next verse, Ezekiel 17:10 says, “Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots, cut off its fruit, and leave it to wither? All of its spring leaves will wither, and no great power or many people will be needed to pluck it up by its roots.”
Part IV- FINANCIAL WARFARE
You have probably seen the headlines about the U.S. and China going head to head in an economic battle. Personally I believe the “economic nuke” is more likely than an actual nuclear bombing of America. Usually the goal of war is not to eliminate a people group, though large death tolls are usually involved in the process. The ultimate goal is to gain control over land and resources. America is one of the most fertile and abundant land masses as far as resources go. Our nation has huge deposits of natural gas, coal, uranium, copper, iron, phosphates, silver, gold, mercury, lead, bauxite, molybdenum, nickel, petroleum, potash and much more. Why would North Korea nuke us when they can just negotiate with China to drop a financial bomb on our country. It would not be very difficult for China to collapse our economy especially now that the Petro-Yuan (Chinese currency for oil exchange) has just recently been launched. The petrodollar (US dollar) has been solely used to trade oil for decades, which has given the United States an upper hand in the global economy. If the petrodollar is choked out, the balance of power will shift dramatically. On top of this currency battle the U.S. and China are both imposing new tariffs on products from the opposing nation. The result of limited trade with China could result in much higher prices on a variety of goods made in China. How many times have you seen “Made in China” in small print? Imagine paying more for all of those products. Combine a collapsing dollar, crashing stock market, and more expensive products and you get the second “Great Depression.”
After financial disaster of this magnitude the way the economy works will change dramatically. Blockchain technology which may be the DNA of the mark of the beast could be offered as part of the solution to “fragile systems.” The elite’s goal is to create a decentralized global economy governed by artificial intelligence. When the dust settles there is going to be a resentment of corporations and central banks; solution…cut out the middleman with a decentralized world order. This is made possible by the technological singularity (superintelligence), blockchain, biometric identification and RFID chips. When we are stripped of all of our comfort it will only be possible to deny the mark by the power of the Holy Spirit. The parable of the two eagles and the vine illustrates a parallel that applies to the days we are living in now and the decisions we may face in the near feature. We may be subjected by a power that does not allow us to grow and produce fruit. We must not accept the water from the incoming second great eagle despite the desires of our flesh. When the time comes will you be willing to put down your net and follow Jesus Christ? He will be with us in the desert. Though we may not be majestic trees bearing fruit as we face the coming tribulation. When our faith forces us out of the beast system we need to think back to how God provided for the children of Israel throughout the bible. Remember, we don’t live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. The next installment of “One World Cryptocurrency” will resume at a later date as more development and prophetic fulfillment takes place.
