It is no secret that this is how things operate. Ordo ab chao is the Latin motto attributed to Freemasonry that translates as order from chaos. President Obama’s former Chief of Staff put it this way in 2009, right in the midst of the debate on the trillion dollar bailout package. “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”[i] I guess it’s even better if you can create the crisis…..like….say…Saul Alinsky talked about in Rules for Radicals. And so that brings us to Chicago and the anti-Trump protests. There’s more than something fishy going on. And we don’t have to guess who’s behind it. [But let me say right up front: This is not an endorsement of Donald Trump. I’m talking about the principal here.]
What we are seeing here is an assassination of Constitutional freedom; an attempt to deny ‘The Donald’ his free speech rights guaranteed under the First Amendment. In doing so, the ‘protestors’ are also messing with the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans. Here’s the situation. Hundreds of anti-Trump protesters managed to infiltrate a trump rally with many more gathered outside. They chanted for Bernie Sanders and the tension in the room rose precipitously. Seeing the potential for violence, the Trump campaign shut down the rally for safety reasons. The protestors claimed victory.[ii] It didn’t stop with Chicago. A protestor jumped a barrier and rushed the stage in Dayton. He was arrested and released. Then came an event in Kansas City where police removed protestors from the rally and had to use pepper spray on two occasions outside the venue. The character of the protestors gives much of their game away. CNN quoted one “Alicia Valeanzela, who was shouting those words at people she believed to be Trump supporters, said she believed anyone supporting Trump supports a racist, xenophobic ideology. ‘He’s a f***ing bigot. He’s an a**hole,’ she said. ‘It’s not right I’m not gonna let somebody ruin our country like that,’ said the 21-year-old native of Venezuela.”[iii] [So we’ve got a native of Venezuela, protesting the American electoral process? Does anybody else see something wrong with this?]
The central issue here is the source of the protests. These were organized by George-Soros-funded leftist organizations with an interest not in changing the system – but tearing it down to the last brick. Some of the organizations involved include MoveOn.org, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, the anti-Anglo racist National Council of La Raza, ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) and the Illinois Coalition of Immigrant and Rights Reform. The domestic terrorist-in-chief, Bill Ayers, whose pedigree dates back to the riots at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, even made an appear an appearance. Front Page Magazine’s Matthew Vadum explains. “The goal was to help reinforce the media narrative that Trump is a dangerous authoritarian figure who needs to be stopped now before he upsets too many people and proclaims himself emperor, or some fevered fantasy like that. The organized rioters who showed up at UIC to taunt and bait Trump supporters, hoped to generate compelling TV clips that could be used to attack the Republican front-runner… They are violent agitators, trained in Alinsky-style disruption, aiming to shut Trump and his supporters down by any means they can get away with. These modern-day brownshirts use force and the threat of force to harass and intimidate, and to provoke people who have come to a peaceful assembly to hear their candidate speak.”[iv]
But it goes even deeper. While some were Sanders supporters and others Hillaryittes, many were professional protestors; disrupters of American culture. High ranking members of the Democrat Party were said to be intimately involved in orchestrating the attacks.[v] And many fellow Republicans hinted that Trump himself was responsible for the violence, fed as it was by his over-the-top rhetorical flourishes. Trump threatens the political status quo; both Republican and Democrat. His wealth makes him untouchable in the usual ways that the Powers-that-Be have of controlling the Washington elite. Donald Trump doesn’t need their money. He doesn’t need the media. In fact, he seems to have created a situation where the media is craving his every syllable. And attempt as they may to crucify him with his own often ill-chosen words, they fail. His gaffes only add to his luster and his poll numbers. What’s worse, his policy positions on illegal immigration, and Syrian refugees, Obamacare and the like – undermine the One-World ambitions of the Powers and disrupts the evil synergy of big government, the mainstream media and the banking / business interests that run the world. To these, a Trump presidency would be an unmitigated disaster. And that is why you see his enemies coming at him from all sides of the faux political spectrum. Trump is going through the temple of the American system, threatening to overturn the tables and chase out the money changers. One has to wonder to what length the power brokers will be willing to go to stop him.
The reason is: Trump does not fit the norm. His candidacy represents a phenomenon outside the acceptable and predictable channels of American politics. The real fact is his candidacy is a phenomenon. One could argue that his personality-driven campaign came on the scene just as conditions ripened to accept this larger-than-life personality. And checkered as his past record of political support may be, he entered the room enunciating the very questions and solutions that had driven conversations in office and bar and parlor for the last several decades. Under the weight of the accumulated betrayal-fed distrust, the social order had begun to crumble from within. And the political class, feeling the heat of simmering revolutionary tendencies, is clawing and clutching at anything to maintain their status and control. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich may have spilled the beans when he told Bill O’Reilly on his show that “the establishment is scared of Donald Trump because he ‘didn’t belong to a secret society’ and wasn’t involved in any of the rituals associated with such groups.”[vi] Nassim Nicholas Taleb, author of The Black Swan, tweeted this explanation.
But let’s get one thing clear. It is not just Trump supporters that serve as signs that everyday Americans are beginning to recognize the rot. Sanders-nistas and Cruz-aholics are part of that same phenomenon. This election is centered about the struggle between – on the one [vii]hand- the Establishment / Surveillance / Welfare State – v – the mixed cadre of Americans that would overthrow the status quo and remake the country into ….a populist democracy…..or a European-Socialist clone state….or return the nation to the founding principles of a Constitutional Republic. But even the popularity of those various movements may be setting the stage for their own defeat; playing into the hands of the Political Class.
The Left will use its tactics of domestic terrorism. And the Republicans have shown by their actions that they will use their power of the purse and their arcane convention rules to engineer the candidacy they want…if at all possible. While the Democrat Left will go to the point of sacrificing the republic for the maintenance of their power, the Republican Establishment is not far behind. They will allow and encourage the anti-Trump demonstrations….and violence if need be. Outside the convention hall, the streets of Cleveland will be filled with Leftist mobs and Trump supporters. Natural enemies. No matter what the result….whether Trump is nominated or rejected….someone will be mad. And the aftermath may make the Chicago riots of 1968 – at the Democratic National Convention that year – look like a New Age day care center. It might just serve as the opportunity to begin practicing some localized form of martial law. After all: We should never let a good crisis go to waste!
