“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:43-48)
The United States is a divided land. There exists a great chasm separating Americans into different camps; Left from Right, Black from White, Liberal from Conservative. The fuse was lit with the police shootings of Black individuals in Minnesota and Louisiana, near the headwaters and mouth of the great Mississippi River that unofficial boundary between East and West. In Minnesota, Philando Castile had informed officers he was licensed to carry and was reaching for his ID in the same pocket as his handgun when the officer fired.[i] In Baton Rouge, Alton Sterling was allegedly reaching for a gun while pinned to the ground when he was shot. Police had been called to the scene “after police responded to a call about a man threatening another man with a gun.”[ii] And then came Dallas. Black Lives Matters (BLM) had organized a protest march. A dozen of the white police officers on hand were successfully targeted by an admitted racist sniper, who in his own words set out to kill as many white policeman as he could.. [Numerous early reports and eyewitness testimony alleged that there was more than one shooter – but authorities settled on the one shooter theory.] The identified shooter, Micah Johnson, was neutralized by an exploding robot. The New York times reports that his “Facebook page showed that he supported the New Black Panther Party, a group that has advocated violence against whites, and Jews in particular.”[iii] What had been – up to then – a peaceful protest – turned ugly. As the news leaked out, pockets of protesters began to celebrate and taunt police. That celebration was given voice by Babu Omowale, National Minister of Defense of the People’s New Black Panther Party said in an interview: “The fact that Micah (the shooter) just got five of the bastards, that’s what got you all upset now.”[iv] And the divide became wider, deeper, more real – and infinitely more dangerous. [v]
The President reacted by pushing for more federal control of local police forces.[vi] His chosen successor, Hillary Clinton, called for more gun control.[vii] [Because taking away a citizen’s right to defend himself against chaos always makes a lot of sense!] And before you read this, on Friday July 15, 37 separate protests will be held in various American cities, all sponsored by Black Lives Matters – and all bringing with them the danger of more incidents. BLM arose after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the death of Trayvon Martin. It really gained its legs after the Ferguson incident in which Michael Brown lost his life. Brown was held up as a hero and martyr. But the facts show otherwise. He had just been involved in a petty theft. He punched the investigating officer in the face as he sat in his car. The much bigger brown then began arm wrestling the policeman, Darren Wilson for his gun. Finally he took off and the officer gave chase – until Brown turned on him and began to charge. Forensics confirms that Brown was nearly on top of Wilson when he fired. Details of the incident were confirmed by African American witnesses.[viii] But without regard to fact a legend was born. The legend said Brown had approached Wilson with his hands up, saying ‘Don’t shoot.’ And it was the legend that was adopted by Black Lives Matter and used to garner support in their own community as well as shame their perceived opponents. But even the Washington Post – (no friend of any cause that can be considered conservative) – weighed in on the matter. Jonathan Capehart, himself an African American journalist, without diminishing what he considered some very real and present racial issues wrote: “‘hands up, don’t shoot’ became the mantra of a movement. But it was wrong, built on a lie.”[ix] But the lie lives on. It was being chanted in Dallas as crowds marched and police looked on awaiting their ambush.
Despite the false narrative the perception exists that racial targeting is very real. The not-so-funny joke of someone being pulled over for ‘Driving while Black,’ is an all-too-often experience for many African Americans. That was the case for Philando Castille. Perhaps the key question is: Are police really more likely to shoot a Black once a stop has been made? I have found all manner of studies and statistical analysis addressing that issue. Roland G Fryer is a Harvard economics professor who researched the matter. What he found was “the most surprising result of my career.” His study looked at over 1,300 police shootings in 10 major cities, over the past 15 years in the states of California, Florida and Texas. And while minorities were 50% more likely than whites to have interactions with police there was no evidence of racial bias when it came to shootings.[x] Other research come to similar conclusions. So far this year 509 persons were killed by police. 238 were white, 123 Black. And 124 police officers lost their lives in the line of duty. Yes, that number for blacks is greater than their proportion of the population. African Americans make up about 13% of the population.[xi] However, Black Americans are responsible for more of the crime than other groups. In New York City in 2013, they made up 70% of the shooting suspects.[xii] And former law enforcement officer Allen B West cited statistics that show that over 70% of police shootings were justified.[xiii] The Washington Post concludes: “The vast majority of individuals shot and killed by police officers were…armed with guns and killed after attacking police officers or civilians or making other direct threats.” As for the other 30 %: The Post reports that “only a small number of the shootings — roughly 5 percent — occurred under the kind of circumstances that raise doubt and draw public outcry.”[xiv]
A human perspective is put on all of this by African American police officer from Florida, Jay Stalien. Here is just a small sample of his Facebook post. “Suspect- Black/ Male, Victim-Black /Male. I remember the countless times I canvassed the area afterwards, and asked everyone ‘did you see who did it’, and the popular response from the very same family members was always, ‘F— the Police, I aint no snitch, I’m gonna take care of this myself.’ This happened every single time, every single homicide, black on black, and then my realization became clearer. I woke up every morning, put my freshly pressed uniform on, shined my badge, functioned checked my weapon, kissed my wife and kid, and waited for my wife to say the same thing she always does before I leave, ‘Make sure you come back home to us’. I always replied, ‘I will’, but the truth was I was never sure if I would.”
He was called an Uncle Tom and a ‘Wanna be white boy.’ He began to question people in the community where he patrolled and chronicled the result.
“Complaint: Police always targeting us, they always messing with the black man.
Fact: A city where the majority of citizens are black (Baltimore for example) …will ALWAYS have a higher rate of black people getting arrested, it will ALWAYS have a higher rate of blacks getting stopped, and will ALWAYS have a higher rate of blacks getting killed, and the reason why is because a city with those characteristics will ALWAYS have a higher rate of blacks committing crime. The statistics will follow the same trend for Asians if you go to China, for Hispanics if you go to Puerto Rico, for whites if you go to Russia, and the list goes on. It’s called Demographics”
“Complaint: More black people get arrested than white boys.”
“Fact: Black People commit a grossly disproportionate amount of crime. Data from the FBI shows that Nationwide, Blacks committed 5,173 homicides in 2014, whites committed 4,367. Chicago’s death toll is almost equal to that of both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, combined. Chicago’s death toll from 2001–November, 26 2015 stands at 7,401. The combined total deaths during Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2015: 4,815) and Operation Enduring Freedom/Afghanistan (2001-2015: 3,506), total 8,321.”
The questions went on – always followed by unsatisfactory answers. He concluded: “I realized that some of these people, who say Black Lives Matter, are full of hate and racism. Hate for cops, because of the false narrative that more black people are targeted and killed. Racism against white people, for a tragedy that began 100’s of years ago, when most of the white people today weren’t even born yet. I realized that some in the African-American community’s idea of ‘Justice’ is the prosecution of ANY and EVERY cop or white man that kills or is believed to have killed a black man, no matter what the circumstances are. I realized the African American community refuses to look within to solve its major issues, and instead makes excuses and looks outside for solutions. I realized that a lot of people in the African American lead with hate, instead of love. Division instead of Unity. Turmoil and rioting, instead of Peace. I realized that they have become the very entity that they claim they are fighting against.”[xv]
Another Layer of Division
But there’s something else going on – another layer of division, if you will. That is the separation between the puppeteer and the puppets. There are some very real issues between the Black and White communities – or more accurately – between the Black communities and the policing powers. Some are real – and some are matters of perception – but still bearing the ability to wound and sear and poison. And while some danced and celebrated and taunted police over their fallen comrades – others – many more – were shocked and wounded and troubled by the events. They had signed up not for revenge but to put a stop to what they perceived as the unfair targeting of their people. But both groups as well as those in-between, are the mere foot soldiers in the movement. There are others; those in charge, including some of the organizers who are bringing a more violent dynamic. And there is another layer still; the financiers and backers of the movement who are setting the true agenda. Believe me, it is bigger and darker and more dangerous than you may think. Let’s start to unwrap the evidence.
Besides the BLM there is the NBPP or New Black Panther Party. It was armed members of this group that stood watch over Philadelphia polling places to ensure ‘correct’ voting in the 2008 election – something that was never investigated by the administration. This group is often connected with the BLM. Now one of their advisors, Dr Mauricelm-Lei Millere of the African American Defense League, tweeted this encouragement to demonstrators for the coming days. “WE ARE CALLING ON THE GANGS ACROSS THE NATION! ATTACK EVERYTHING IN BLUE EXCEPT THE MAIL MAN, UNLESS HE IS CARRYING MORE THAN MAIL!” Now in fairness, BLM has officially denounced the attack on the Dallas police, though many of their supporters act otherwise. But even the beginning of this current round of incidents – before Baton Rouge and Minnesota – the FBI had issued a warning on violence against police. “On July 7, 2016 the FBI issued a ‘Potential Activity Alert,’ for ‘Violence Against Law Enforcement Officers and Riots Planned for 8-10 July, 2016,’ which is a day before 12 officers were ambushed and shot, killing 5 of them in Dallas Texas.”[xvi] This they gleaned from social media posts – calling for riots and violence a number of specific locations – including ironically, Baton Rouge.
Behind It All
But all of this is not the result of naturally occurring, grass roots, organic forces. There is something much darker and more sinister going on. And we’ll see that it bleeds into the political landscape and is part of the shaping of that struggle. There are forces behind that Black Lives Matter movement that are using them as a tool to remake the nation. Infowars reports: “In November, members of Black Lives Matter (BLM) met behind closed doors with Democracy Alliance, a coterie of wealthy liberals who have pledged to fund leftist organizations.” Their membership boasts the infamous George Soros, SEIU head Anna Burger, Norman Lear, and the head of the Rockefeller Family Fund as well as other big players. Their object was to find ways to fund BLM. Connection was made with the Freedom Road Socialist Organization. The FRSO is funded in turn by such sources as Kellogg, Ben & Jerry’s, Hewlett, Heinz, Soros Funds and Rockefeller – and, perhaps surprisingly to some – the Ford Foundation. ‘What’s up with all that?’ – you may ask. Garry Allen of None Dare Call It Conspiracy answers our question. “If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of superrich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead it becomes the logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”[xvii]
Susan Duclos of ANP explains how and why this is working the way it is. The New Black Panthers and certain members of BLM are connected to the Revolutionary Communist Party USA who are feeding the movement the propaganda to drive their wished-for revolution. They are fed this statement: “This system locks down generations of Black and Brown youth, brutalizing and incarcerating them and even blowing them away—or else setting them up to fight and kill each other, when they should be fighting the REAL enemy.”[xviii] What is being engineered is a “Color Revolution” and Duclos quotes from another article to illuminate us. “Think about it. America is perhaps one of the most intensely propagandized nations on earth. Think about all the ‘white privilege’, #BLM, racism, ‘can’t we all get along’, pro perversion (gay, trans, queer, etc.) messaging and pressure that you see. Think about how much your CHILDREN are exposed to. What America is experiencing is a top down imposed color revolution – not from external forces or elements. The waves of rapefugees and crimmigrants are a mere tool of the Federal Regime and its goon squads (HOW many rounds of ammo and HOW many sworn officers with arrest powers exist?). They are the social and physical forces to subjugate Americans.”[xix]
So what’s the end game here? [Let me get my tinfoil hat on here.] Believe it or not: It is the End of the Republic; the imposition of a New Order. Orchestrated Chaos – that leads to crackdown – that leads to Martial Law – that leads to the Cancelling of the Election. The conditions for chaos are all in place. (Perhaps Friday’s Day of Rage by BLM and its allies will have initiated it.) If not there’s always Cleveland. The New Black Panthers have announced they’re heading there for the Republic Convention – and they told us they will be “carrying.” On the other side, the Oath Keepers will be carrying. The Bikers for Trump will be there. The Cleveland Police have been pretty much ordered to stand down. This is a recipe for disaster.
And if you think the intent is not the cancelling of the elections we have this evidence. Back in mid-June the Baltimore Sun and ANP reported on the hacking of the twitter account of BLM leader Deray McKesson was hacked. In the course of things some very interesting tweets were discovered connecting BLM to the administration through Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Here are a couple of very interesting retweets of conversations between McKesson and another Black Lives leader, Johnetta Elzie.
In one thread they write: “We spoke two weeks ago and they want us to start really pushing how racist Trump is now instead of waiting so the others can start getting the protestors ready to shut both conventions down….. We have to make sure that we use our voices to keep people disrupting Trump all summer and through the fall so martial law can be declared.”[xx]
The Forgiveness Solution
This is all fed through the filter of ginned-up hate. It is not always the hate of the foot soldier – the protestor in the street. A tweet from the Dallas Chapter of BLM spewed hate in the same way that some very real incidents on the part of white policeman expressed theirs. It read in part: “These killer cops been killing our Black Men and Women every day and getting away with it. Oh well, I have no sympathy what’s so ever for those cops lives nor their families….What is good for the goose is good for the gander.” The lines spill out perhaps more sad than tragic. The sentiment is evil; as evil as the White Cop that harasses a Black driver with a gratuitous stop. And the hate from each side will feed the hate from the other; a cycle too hard to be broken with human means. But God calls us to something more and gives us an example of how it is to operate. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
But there remains hope. Shetamia and her four children were at the BLM protest in Dallas. There is a video that shamefully has not been trumpeted by the mainstream media. Here’s her story as outlined by All News Pipeline. Shetamia and her children “got caught up in a hail of bullets as police were targeted for execution. She was shot in the leg and went down, one of her children came back for her after she told them to run, she tackled her child and threw her body over him to protect him. Dallas police came, asked if anyone was hit, and she recounts what happened when she said yes, she was hit. She says ‘That officer jumped on top of me and covered me and my son, and there was another one at our feet, another one above our heads and several lined against the wall…. and they just stayed there with us.’
Shetamia breaks down in tears after saying ‘I saw another officer get shot… right in front of me and that was two,” and she continues later on to say “I’m so thankful for the Dallas Police Department and whoever else — the ATF, I don’t know who was down there, but I’m thankful for all of them, because they, they had no regard for their own life. They stayed there with us. They surrounded my son, and I’m so thankful for that because all I could do is lay on top of him and just pray. I’m sorry that it happened, I’m sorry that that person thought that that would be ok, that he thought it would solve something. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry that they lost their lives.’”[xxi]
That is the spirit that is needed. When the White hater gunned down the Black Church Bible study in Charleston last year, the survivors offered forgiveness and preached the Gospel in word and deed. When the Amish school slaughter took place the congregation offered comfort to the family of the shooter and forgiveness all around. That is our only hope. Besides it is God’s command. “And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors…. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6:12, 14-15) There is no room for self-righteousness in God’s Kingdom.
