“Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.” (Isaiah 24:1) (KJV)
I think it no secret that judgement is coming upon the earth. God’s word makes that plain. Back in 2007, David Wilkerson gave a prophetic word. “Scripture makes it clear: in a single hour, the world is going to change. The church is going to change. And every individual on earth is going to change.” I am not one to proclaim the words of many prophets not found in scripture. But I believe this man. America is primed for the event. We have no shortage of both individual and corporate sins. There were 196,000 abortions since just the beginning of this year.[i] 2013, the last year I found reported by the CDC there were 644,000.[ii] The numbers are horrific. Then you might want to throw in the level of violence, perversity, pornography, greed, self-centeredness etc, etc. And if that isn’t enough, we have purposefully thumbed our collective nose – (does a nation have a collective nose?) – at God and His Law by legalizing and celebrating the legalization of Gay Marriage and wide and sundry perversities with the lighting up of the White House in rainbow colors. We have gone beyond being a nation that has forgotten God. We have rejected Him and put up a God of our own choosing – made in our likeness – to take His place. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” (2Timothy 3:1-5) (KJV) Paul writes of those who knowingly reject God. “Professing to be wise, they became fools.” God’s judgment falls upon their power to even reason. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind.” What follows is the lowest and vilest forms of sin. These have captured much of our nation. Perhaps President Obama was correct. We are no longer a Christian nation. We are perhaps a pagan nation clinging to the trappings of Christianity. But thank God there is always a remnant.
And therein lies the struggle. The powers of the Deep State and their allies in the media and academia are committed to the destruction of the America that once was – built as it was on the foundation of a Judeo-Christian biblical worldview. An all-out war is being waged against Christians, conservatives, constitutionalists and supporters of the President. Dr Paul Craig Roberts who served in the Reagan administration warns that the “US military/security complex and the Democratic Party aided by their media vassals intend to purge Donald Trump from the presidency.” At another time in history this would seem to be so much tin-foil hyperbole. But today we have the evidence that it is more – much more. Roberts characterizes it as a Stalinist purge. “One of the open conspirators declared the other day that we have to get rid of Trump now before he wins re-election in a landslide. It is now a known fact that Russiagate is a conspiracy of the military/security complex, Obama regime, Democratic National Committee, and presstitute media to destroy President Trump.”[iii] Mike Adams of Natural News comes to much the same conclusions. He points to the Google / Youtube “censorship rampage” against conservative content that is being exercised to control the narrative. The goals: Win the mid-term election in the house and immediately impeach Trump. This is not even a secret. He lays out where the battle would go from there. The First and Second Amendments would come under severe attack and be rendered meaningless. (I would add in the 4th to that scenario.) Conservatives and Biblicists would be labeled terrorists…and the full-socialization….communization of the populace would follow. And dare I say, FEMA Camps? And so the battle is on. The stakes are critical. But no matter the outcome, the remnant remains. For that remnant there are the promises of God. “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1Thessalonians 5:9) Now we began with Isaiah’s prophecy of destruction and judgment. Yet in the midst of destruction, the prophet gives us this. “When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people, It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing; For the majesty of the Lord They shall cry aloud from the sea.” (Isaiah 24:13-14) And we return to Wilkerson for the close. “Do you get the picture? There will be panic everywhere. Men’s hearts will fail them for fear, as fires belch smoke seen for hundreds of miles. Disorder and chaos will reign on all sides. Yet amid the devastating fires and calamity, the world will hear a glorious song being sung: ‘Glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel… From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous [One]’ (Isaiah 24:15–16).
