My 20th High School reunion was about to take place and I wasn’t even sure that I wanted to attend. I hadn’t gone to any of the previous reunions and I was quite comfortable with my decision to decline. My life had changed dramatically since the late 80’s, when I walked the halls of West Seneca West High School. I was a Christian now, a Bible reading, Church going, homeschooling, stay at home Mom type of Christian…with 6 children. I was a pod…but my old dear friend, who was more like a sister wanted me to go, so I did. That was when my introduction to Facebook took place, in order to attend you had to respond through an FB group. Before this point I had no interest in joining the social media group that had become so popular, so quickly. It was becoming a way of life for many, a way I didn’t want to follow. I never could have imagined how tremendously it was going to impact my life or how entrenched in the whole “virtual world” I was going to become. Just think, there was a time not too long ago that people traveled without devices. There was a time when people met face to face to discuss life. The world was changing and I had decided to join in.
Social media has brought the entire world together into one continuous virtual community. You can talk to your high school sweetheart, look at photos of your old rival, join a recipe group, look at porn, read vulgar jokes or get health advice. Within the realm of social media a person can “go” wherever, experience “whatever” and meet “whomever” they would like. As we search around posting, liking, tweeting and creeping, the powers that be are watching us, keeping track of everything we see and all that we say, whether we post it or not. They are also feeding us information, creating algorithms to draw us toward the belief system that they possess, no matter the belief system that we aspire to. Have you ever discussed something with someone and then an image or an advertisement related to that subject bombards our feed? I only looked at an item in a store, never discussing it with anyone and that item popped up on my page and I received several emails prompting it. My phone was in my pocket….and to reiterate, I never discussed it with anyone. The social media network is one massive program designed to manipulate and control us, and the whole world is locked in. Nimrod would have been proud of the success of the media moguls. The Tower of Babel doesn’t hold a candle to what these people have created.
“And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do.’” (Genesis 11:5 and 6)
I am considered one of the annoying people on FB, a dreaded “conspiracy theorist.” I have used these platforms to research. I love research and the virtual world has given me so much opportunity to learn and find hidden gems of obscure knowledge. I have an obsession with the truth and I feel compelled to share what I find with everyone. I have used my page to share my sorrow at abortion, the evil of child sex trafficking, the depravity of the Hollywood elites, the lies of the media and the corruption practiced by political figures. I share devotionals that touch my heart and Bible verses that convict me, I share information about big pharma and I throw in some great recipes, songs I love, Artwork and of course pictures of my beloved family. I have been labeled too political and unloving by others because of my beliefs, even by members of my own church that I have attended for 23 years. Yet still I can’t keep myself from hitting that “share” button. My Facebook and Instagram have become an extension of myself, something I not only never envisioned happening, something I once held disdain for.
Imagine my dismay when I went to login to my Facebook two mornings ago, the screen informed me “your account has been permanently deactivated”. I was given the opportunity to appeal, so I did. Within a second I received my reply, “you have violated community standards and will receive no appeal, your account has been permanently deactivated.” Boom! That was it!
All of my research that I had saved, all of the pictures, all of the connections I had made over the years, GONE! I wasn’t given a reason, I wasn’t thrown into jail as I had seen happen to so many others, that was it, the party’s over!
There are groups on FB that promote pedophilia, there are memes that circulate that are vulgar and use profanity, there are groups that literally incite violence, nothing that I shared contained any of this type of content. I have not shied away from sharing things that went against the mainstream culture, but I had never used foul language or threatened anyone. I actually rarely engaged with anyone, if someone had something nasty to say I would ignore it, at least “virtually”. Many of my posts were flagged as false news and I marveled at the fact that I was never given “jail time”. So what was it? Was it the article I shared that I wrote about the evil drug adrenochrome? Was it the comment I made that we needed to pray for Biden and Harris to turn from their wicked ways and repent? Was it the comment I made about the transgender Dr. Levine that Biden has chosen to be the Assistant Health Secretary? Was it something I wrote about the sanctity of marriage? I will never know. One thing that I do know….our world is continuing to change….and I am not only not going to march along this time, I’m not invited.
Freedom of speech is being obliterated from society. We have entered an Orwellian reality where only approved speech is acceptable. Anyone who does not agree with the new administration and leftist ideology is to be labeled as a hateful threat to society. Overnight the movement has gotten right to work, and they are pressing aggressively forward with a vengeance. Those that supported the Trump administration are being labeled as violent white supremacists. This is rapidly moving beyond shadow banning and cancel culture. We have entered a new era where the slogan of the fictitious collective, “The Borg” from Star Trek is becoming the “new normal”. “Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.”
The Luciferian order is taking its hold and has gained more power than any time in history. What lies ahead for us, for God’s people, for the Conservatives that have enjoyed the freedoms that are afforded by a Christian nation that was founded upon the precepts of the Bible? What does the future hold for those that have an obsession for truth. We are amidst a war that many aren’t even aware is taking place. This isn’t a war that will be waged with weapons and physical prowess, it is a war that is of the spiritual realm. Our defense will be found in prayer and faith, not guns and bombs.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13)
I believe the children of the Most High have a rough ride ahead. I don’t know how rough…but I do know that concentration camps have been put in place in our country and around the world. Although it has been claimed that they were created to contain those infected by covid, the language includes those that think differently than their authority. I know that in other countries the police have knocked on the door of those that have shared content on social media that the government considers to be inappropriate. I know that videos are being made claiming that all Trump supporters are a danger to society, an army within our nation that needs to be eliminated. I know that with the click of a button one person can report another person if they are offended by them. I know that people are being informed that it is necessary to report their neighbors, for the greater good. Praise God I also know He is the one true God and that no scheme of the devil shall ever have victory over Him.
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
We need to be drawing close to God, removing our idols and putting on our armor. We need to be preparing for a battle that will be coming to our doorstep sooner than later. Our only defense will be found in the Word. The rubber has met the road, the forces of darkness are on the move, but take heart so is our Lord, and He has already won. It’s time that Satan and his followers to acknowledge it.

Hi Marie,
I graduated from WS West in 1977. Ed (EJ) was in some of my classes. Cindy is living up on the corner from me and I used to see Cheryl driving the school bus in the neighborhood.
Spent a lot of time at the “farm” in the late 1970s to very early 1980s. A lot of time has gone by, I have seen Tom, Jr the most, since he was good buddies with my youngest brother Ken and would drop by when visiting his mother (Norma) over on the corner a minutes walk away.
Last time I saw everyone, but talked to only a few people was at Larry Reger’s funeral. I know the man who now had their former house on S. Ostrader. Small world.
Very refreshing to see you using the KJV. I have been reading and believing one regularly since 1981-2.
I haven’t been going to our church because of the mask issue. We rent a conference room in a hotel.

Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I believe we are in for some trying times in the days ahead.
2 Timothy 3:12 KJV
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Ephesians 3:9 KJV
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Hi Marie,
Just received an email from your husband’s mother. What threw me was that you mentioned that YOU had six.
You weren’t counting Samantha. I am envious. I wanted seven, but settled for four blessings.
Psalm 127:3-5 KJV
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward. [4] As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. [5] Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
