- US & UK SPECIAL FORCES FIGHTING IN UKRAINE – The French daily, Le Figaro reported that American Delta Force fighters and British SAS (Special Air Service) “have been deployed in Ukraine since the start of hostilities with Russia in late February.” When British Prime Minister Boris Johnson paid an unexpected visit to Kiev, he “was reportedly accompanied by special SAS guards.” A French journalist told CNews, that “Americans are directly ‘in charge’ of the war on the ground.”[i]
- RUSSIAN WARNINGS – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov had two warnings for Ukraine and her allies. First, “Russia will consider US and NATO vehicles that transport weapons to Ukraine as legitimate military targets.” It was not clear if this would apply to transport vehicles on the way to Ukraine or only those in country. Secondly, with regard to several reported attacks by Ukraine on targets in the Russian border area, Rybakov warned that Russia would begin to target “centers of decision making” in Ukraine. This likely means the bombing of government buildings in Kiev which have not been deliberately targeted.[ii]
- RUSSIAN SHIP EXPLODES – The Russian Defense Ministry announced that “The entire crew of the missile cruiser ‘Moskva’ was evacuated after an ammunition explosion caused by a fire.”[iii] HTR: “Ukrainian officials on Wednesday evening claimed that a battery of their Neptune anti-ship missiles hidden in Odessa had successfully struck the Moskva twice, setting the cruiser ablaze.” These reports were unconfirmed.[iv]
