Christian conservatives attending the Presidential Family forum in Des Moines, IA, Friday evening listened to seven Republican presidential candidates share personal, emotionally charged stories regarding praying for God’s help, asking for forgiveness for mistakes, or questioning God for the suffering they were experiencing. A Des Moines Register reporter stated, that “at times, it took on the confessional, open-hearted mood of a small group Bible study discussion.”[i]

NCIS Actress Pauley Perrette Comforted at Church after Attack by Mentally Disturbed Homeless Man
Pauley Perrette headed to church Sunday to heal after being physically assaulted after exiting her Hollywood home. “I prayed as hard as I’ve ever prayed for anything ever in my life,” she said about her reactions during the beating. Even though this man was punching her and threatening her life, Pauley prayed for her own safety and for him. When Pauley was telling her story to the media on Friday, she proclaimed herself as a person of faith.[iii]
