WAR ALERT! MASSIVE ESCALATION LIKELY

All signs point to a gigantic attack by the US against Iran and a strategically significant response by the Iranians.  President Trump has been threatening a major escalation, “larger than anything before.”  But says that he has “not decided.

 There are a number of factors that indicate a major escalation may be in the cards.

• There has been a giant buildup of American forces in Germany and other regional bases that could serve as launching points for attacks against Iran. This buildup includes Fighter Jets, Cargo Planes and significantly, Combat Doctors.
• This past week our NATO allies have been closing their embassies in Tehran. Such action was taken by the UK, France, Germany and Turky.  This suggests attacks against Tehran itself.
• The US State Department has been using all means to warn Americans located throughout the Middle East to “Prepare for EMERGENCY TRAVEL.”
• President Trump has threatened to hit Iran’s infrastructure, including bridges, oil facilities and production and the electric grid.

• 

  In response, Tehran has said if America does that it will strike the infrastructure of America’s allies in the region, going after the same sorts of targets but also including de-salinization plants. Those attacks would also include Israel.

• Israel is on the highest alert. Bomb shelters are being opened, PM Netanyahu has cancelled a trip to the US and is meeting with his security cabinet.  Israeli hospitals are reducing their patient counts by 50%.
• The Houthis in Yemen are attempting to close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the waterway through which Saudi oil has been flowing since the start of hostilities. Many ships are already avoiding the Strait, exacerbating the petroleum situation.  “Given its strategic location, the Bab el-Mandeb is considered one of the most crucial chokepoints for global trade in crude oil, similar to the Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Malacca, and Suez Canal.”[i]
• There are reports – and a supposed video – of an American plane being shot down over Iran.

LIKELY ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES

• The stage is already set for a major economic downturn, not only in America but across the Globe. For instance, according to Bar Chart: “Crude Oil only has 43 days of supply left in the U.S., the lowest inventory in 45 years.”[ii]  That was published on July 20, 2026, which brings the crisis to early September.  Petroleum products will not run out.  However without a solution, demand will outstrip supply, driving prices sharply upward.
• Before the war it was estimated that there were 400 billion barrels of excess oil. That keeps prices low.  Now that has nearly run out.  Oil is trading at over $100 per barrel.
• Hal Turner – who often takes the darkest view – left the following analysis. Strikes by the Iranians on the oil production and infrastructure of Middle East oil producers “would completely cripple ALL oil production from the Middle East, likely for more than a year.  As a result, I think we will see worldwide Recession that degenerates into worldwide depression a month or two after that, and then Global Economic Collapse.”  Turner believes that any such collapse would be intentional on the part of the Globalist Elites.  It would serve as the pre-condition for the set up of a New World Order.[iii]  [While quite pessimistic, he is not alone in this view.  Other analysts believe we could soon be entering a time of severe economic downturn.]
• A major reduction in the availability of fuel would strike at production, food availability and distribution costing jobs and bankruptcies. It could affect the electric grid.  We could see sovereign nations unable to pay even the service on their debts and going bankrupt.  Social unrest would surely follow.

 MY SHORT & QUICK TAKE

• GOD IS IN CHARGE! Nothing will happen that He has not ordained.  He has not lost control.
• We are beginning to see religious revival in America. He is calling a people to Himself.
• To flip the Dickensian script: ‘It was the worst of times. It was the best of times.’
• Even the most trying times serve God’s purposes. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
• And we can trust Him through it all. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6”)
