Here’s a clear starting point. There are forces out there that are working for the destruction of Western Civilization. This is a multi-headed hydra. There are the globalists who are building a New World Order. There are Islamists who seek a Worldwide Caliphate. There are the socialist / communists. They want to tear down capitalist society. In America now they are calling themselves Democratic Socialists and they talk of abolishing the Supreme Court, Congress and even Thanksgiving. And even though they disagree on what to rebuild out of the rubble….they all agree the status quo has to go.
So, let’s start with one of them. Islam is out to destroy the West. Islam is out to subdue the World. Islam – and we know this through its’ holy books, the Quran and the Hadith, is out to kill unbelievers wherever they are found. They have told us as much. They have told us what their intentions are and we must believe them.
Let’s start with what happened in New York City. In and of itself, the incident was not earth shattering. But it is a true sign of where we are at. The Muslim Mayor, Mamdani was giving a few remarks and then attending a prayer meeting. His remarks were rather innocuous when compared to what followed. Here’s a part of the prayer, led my an Imam. Remember, this in in NYC, in the USA, a country where a majority of people identify with Christianity in some form – even if they are not practicing Christians. “I ask Allah to send blessings on Muhammed and the family of Muhammed. Through your hands comes the belief for the believers and the killing of the infidels (non-Muslims) by your sword.” 
With the blessing of the Mayor, this Imam is praying for the killing of the non-Muslims…..Openly, publicly. This is a form of spiritual warfare aimed at a culture or society.[i] The prayer was held at a Queens Islamic Center with links to Iran.[ii] This is a form of warfare that we must not fight alone but in the power of the Holy Spirit. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13) (NASB)
Of course, New York is not the only place that this warfare is going on. In Chicago, a giant Muslim rally was held at the same time that a March for Jesus was to be held. The Muslims were chanting and praying to Allah for the removal of Christians and Jews from the city. It all goes right in line with the prayer of the New York Imam.
If there is a war being waged against the West it is at its’ root a war against the Christian foundations of Western society. While we may have drifted far from the principles of our founding. The socio-political remains as established on its’ Judeo-Christian foundation. But the way has been being prepared for decades to deconstruct Western Society in order to build some form of New World Order. The Islamists have their dream – and the Techno-Oligarchs have theirs. What they agree on most is that they will use the progressive woke agenda to accomplish their goal of deconstruction. This has resulted in what many call the Red – Green Alliance, where Red (socialist / communist) elements supporting causes like the climate agenda, defunding the police and abolishing prisons joins with Islamic elements pushing a theocratic governance and Sharia Law. The two are incompatible. But they unite against their common enemy, capitalism. [That was the type of alliance that overthrew the Shah of Iran in 1979. After taking over the Iranian government, the Islamists suppressed and sometimes executed their former allies in the revolution.]
Pastor Mark Driscoll gives a framework. The first step began in the 1960s & 70s. It was the introduction of Feminism. It was essentially an assault against sex, gender, marriage and family, the very foundations of society. Everything changed. And in looking back – and I lived through it – I can see its’ destructive power. It was an attack on healthy masculinity. It opened the door to perversion. We are talking about the spiritual aspects of that in our series on America at 250. We watched the normalization of pornography, birth control and abortions and the expansion of divorce…..Other than that…..
Step 2 brought the open promotion of various perversions through concepts like transgenderism, bringing with it its’ concomitant mental health issues and marginalizing strong male figures that traditionally protected and guided society.
Step 3 opened the door to the public support for socialism. We’ll see where this takes us in the coming mid-term elections. Socialism steals wealth and power from the productive class, and transfers it to the weak, incompetent and habitual grifters. Socialism destroys prosperity and historically is shown to take lives. Pastor Driscoll points out that this all came together in Black Lives Matter with its’ confluence of Feminism, transgenderism and socialism.[iii]
So, what’s the end game? It is the destruction of Western Civilization. And a Church that does not take this on is neglecting its’ duties. There are many churches that are trying to navigate a middle-way, avoiding controversy and remaining seeker friendly by adapting some of the ways of the world. But there can be no compromise between Marxism and Christianity. A Christ honoring Church cannot wink at homosexuality or transgenderism. There are two sides and we must choose. There is Light & Darkness. There is Good & Evil. There is no gray area. There is no middle ground.
As the prophet wrote: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21)
