We began this series by pointing out that Western Civilization is facing several enemies. We named three: The Socialist / Communists, The Global Elite & The Islamists. But they are operating on more than three fronts. And in point of fact, this struggle is at its’ root a spiritual battle tearing down the Judeo-Christian foundations of our culture. The rot has been going on for some time. As we’ve noted elsewhere, there is a spiritual / demonic element to this war….And war it is! The pagan gods are returning to a society that has marginalized God. Europe may already be beyond earthly hope. [But God….If they so choose.] And America is the primary target.
Let’s list some of these battle fronts. There is the Islamist assault and they bring with them their temporary allies, the Marxists. You have the Open Borders inviting in anti-American populations and enemies of the state. We have seen our Morality attacked for decades now. And American form the 1940s or 50’s would scarcely recognize his own country. Then there’s the Financial / Economic front. The US is $40 trillion in debt and counting. Soon we will not be able to afford the interest. And they have plans for us here. Then you have the Globalist & Technological spheres which are tightly tied to each other. Both have interests in creating a control grid from which we cannot escape. [No fear here! Jesus has other plans!] Another area with ties to these last two is Big Pharma / Big Agriculture. Controlling our drug use, mandating vaccines and managing and altering the food supply gives our Enemy enormous power. Then there is The Green New Deal. This serves as a tool to take control of the economy through massive government regulation that will cripple any economy that adopts it. We see operating in Europe, where gas prices are ranging in the $9 to $!0.76 range per gallon. Much of that due to a commit to radical Green policies. Lastly, there is the Spiritual Realm. They need not turn us all into atheists, neo-pagans or New Agers, though that is certainly one aspect of the assault. If they can bend our churches to compromise and surrender to the popular culture they can achieve their ends.[i] We’ll begin by looking at the Marxist threat. [A nod to JD Rucker for the organization of much of the last paragraph.]
THE MARXISTS – The Far-Left has come out of the closet. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is in the process of seizing the Democrat Party. And at least some of the more centrist (still VERY liberal) Dems are choosing to cooperate in their own demise. Zohran Mamdani, a DSA member is the mayor of New York. He is working to put socialist policies in place there. New York State Governor Kathy Hochul is cooperating at least in some areas. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has rejoined the DSA fold. DSA candidates were successful in a significant number of primaries. Some of their policies border on the insane. And all of them, taken together, would alter the foundations of the American Republic.
Some of their proposals include “free healthcare, free pre‑K and housing as a human right.” They want to abolish the US Senate and have Congress elect the President and the Supreme Court. They want to close prisons and dismantle police departments. “Among its social policies, the platform seeks 32‑hour work weeks, paid family leave, free education, a livable minimum wage and aggressive wealth taxes on large corporations.” [ii] The DSA also calls for “that all student debt – and medical debt, and carceral debt – be canceled and forgiven immediately. We demand public education from pre-K to college that is truly free for all to attend.”[iii] Of course, there is no plan on how any of this would be paid for. At least on DSA candidate called for the abolition of Thanksgiving.
THE ISLAMISTS – Don’t believe we need to beat this one to death. This was covered rather extensively in Parts 1 & 2 of this series. In their holy books and their stated policy, their goal is make the whole world part of an Islamic Caliphate. They have proven they will use violence to achieve that end. Their religion allows them to lie to advance the cause of Islam. Global Sharia is their goal. And they operate less as a religion and more as a socio-political ideology. What religion allows you to beat your women and strike the heads off of your enemies?
A great danger lies in the Red-Green Alliance, the combined forces of the Marxists and the Islamists. They are united in their hate alone. You need only look to the Iranian Revolution of 1979, where those combined forces united to overthrow the ruling Shah of Iran. After they successfully seized power, the Islamists liquidated their Communist allies.[iv] We will continue with this more detailed analysis next week.
