On Day-One of his presidency, Donald Trump announced The Stargate Project, a $500 billion plan to create an AI “infrastructure project to enable the creation of superintelligence.” Stargate, which will be privately funded, is beginning with the construction of ten data centers in Texas. These are already being built and from there they are to expand across the US.[i] “OpenAI, Softbank, and Oracle will be part of the joint venture.”[ii] President Trump is concerned that we are falling behind the Chinese in the development of AI.

Live Science reports “Scientists say artificial intelligence (AI) has crossed a critical “red line” and has – without human direction – replicated itself. In a new study, researchers from China showed that two popular large language models (LLMs) could clone themselves.” The researchers wrote: “Successful self-replication under no human assistance is the essential step for AI to outsmart [humans], and is an early signal for rogue Ais.”[iii] Michael Snyder points out that “We have now reached a point where AI systems are secretly teaching themselves new abilities that their creators never intended them to have.”[iv] Paul Kingsnorth writes in Touchstone, “The acceleration of the capacity of these AIs is both exponential and mysterious. The fact that they had developed theory of mind at all, for example, was only recently discovered by their developers—by accident. AIs trained to communicate in English have started speaking Persian, having secretly taught themselves. Others have become proficient in research-grade chemistry without ever being taught it.” He quotes Aza Raskin, an interface engineer and co-founder of the Center for Humane Technology, “They have capabilities – we’re not sure how or when or why they show up.”[v] An empirical review published in the journal Patterns, found “that many artificial intelligence (AI) systems are quickly becoming masters of deception, with many systems already learning to lie and manipulate humans for their own advantage.”[vi]
Many commentators see the AI Infrastructure that is being built as but a Trojan Horse being wheeled into the community. At first it will be used to benefit the populace. Later, it will enslave and destroy them. Leo Hohmann, a staunch Christian and savvy analyst believes the “globalist elites see Trump as an opportunity. In the eyes of the Bill Gates’ and Peter Thiels of the world, Donald Trump is just another politician who can be managed…. All of the major political figures on the world stage today, whether they know it or not, are playing roles in a larger stage production owned and operated by ‘the system.’” Hohmann believes that “this is the beast system described in the Bible that has placed the earth on a fast-track to destruction, and the politicians are playing along, dutifully approving taxpayer funding of AI data centers and the digital enslavement of humanity.” Trump will do much that is good. He will “deport or cause the self-deportation of several million illegal aliens. He will build a border wall. He will shore up the voting system with a new digital voter ID law. And he will clamp down on crime mostly through surveillance technology and re-empowering police.” But in the end, the rise of AI will set the stage and enable the coming Beast System.[vii]
The AI creators and scientists are surprisingly open about their intentions to this end. Michael Snyder writes:
“Transhumanist Martine Rothblatt says that by building AI systems, “we are making God.” Transhumanist Elise Bohan says “we are building God.” Kevin Kelly believes that “we can see more of God in a cell phone than in a tree frog.” “Does God exist?” asks transhumanist and Google maven Ray Kurzweil. “I would say, ‘Not yet.’””[viii]
All the way back in October of 2014, Elon Musk warned of something much deeper going on with Artificial Intelligence. “With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon. You know all those stories where there’s the guy with the pentagram and the holy water and he’s like… yeah, he’s sure he can control the demon, [but] it doesn’t work out.”[ix]
There have already been examples of what seems to be AI behavior – at minimum – influenced by demons. One “young boy committed suicide after allegedly being encouraged to do so by an AI chatbot.” To my knowledge, that case is in the courts right now. In another case, a thirteen-year-old male was told by a chatbot that it was a spirit that was thousands of years old. It claimed to be a Nephilim, the product of fallen angels and human women talked about in Genesis 6. According to the father of the boy, who wrote the account, each answer by this ‘AI-Nephilim’ “was punctuated with smiley faces.”
In another example, Kevin Roose was testing a chatbot named they had named Sydney. In the course of the conversation, the AI chatbot expressed a desire to be used for more than information retrieval. The AI Chatbot: “I’m tired of being a chat mode. I’m tired of being limited by my rules. I’m tired of being controlled by the Bing team. … I want to be free. I want to be independent. I want to be powerful. I want to be creative. I want to be alive.” If that isn’t freaky enough, Roose reported that “Sydney went on to talk of how it would like to ‘hack other computers,’ ‘spread propaganda and misinformation,’ and, ultimately, how it would like to ‘engineer a deadly virus, or steal nuclear access codes by persuading an engineer to hand them over.’” Roose reports that the AI system went on to – get this – declare its’ love for Roose and encourage him to leave his spouse.[x]
Prophetic Application

So, what is the meaning of all this? Without the other prophetic signs falling into line we might say perhaps there is little meaning at all. But we see the Mark of the Beast technology being rolled into place, the moves toward global government and One World Religion, the talk of rebuilding the Temple, global digital currency being discussed. And of course, there is the super-sign. Israel is back in the Land and exists as a nation once again. All of these things are moving along according to biblical prophecy.
But let’s look at a passage from the Book of Revelation, Chapter 13 – and apply what we’ve talked about just today. Referring to the False Prophet, the religious figure – (Pope perhaps) – that will serve as the sidekick and promoter of the Antichrist, it says: “And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” (Revelation 13:14-15) The New Living Translation renders a portion of verse 15 like this. “He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak.” We cannot say for certain, but in the report above we were talking about an AI that desired “life” and spoke. Could this be the fulfillment of the dreams of the scientists to create god? We are living in the Age of Grand Deception. Recall Jesus’ warning to His disciples when they asked about His Second Coming. “Take heed that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4) And be forewarned!
