Ben Wallace, the UK’s Defense Secretary flew to Washington for emergency talks with Pentagon leadership. Accordiing to reports, Washington was trying to gauge the level of support they would have should the US decide to sink Putin’s Black Sea fleet and strike Russian positions in Crimea & Donbass if Russia used a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine. [My humble opinion: Russia has no need of using tactical nukes because despite the hype and disinformation and fog of war, the Russkies seem to have the upper hand there.] This is further complicated by reports that NATO & Ukrainian leadership are reported to have discussed using a tactical nuke – in Ukraine – and then blaming this on Moscow. Such a False Flag, would then justify to the American people the US getting into the war.[i] [ii] [iii] Another benefit to the regime could be the postponement of the mid-term elections, in which the Dems seem to be trailing badly. In addition, it is reported:
- Russia has sent 6 nuclear bombers to Crimea which Ukraine still claims – but voted to re-join Russia in 2014, after the ‘Revolution’ ginned up by the Western powers overthrew the government.
- Reports that the Russian military is transporting nuclear warheads to the launchers.
- Intel reports that Moscow is preparing to use Iranian drones to attack European infrastructure.
- London & Washington may be considering placing troops in Western Ukraine, not for combat, but for “humanitarian reasons,” to serve as de-facto human shields for the Ukrainians. Russia would be risking a wider war should they continue to attack there.[iv]

Fighting in Kherson Ukraine attempted an attack on a power station and dam in the Kherson region, using HIMARS Multiple Launch Rockets. All six rockets used in the attack were successfully intercepted. A successful attack on the dam would have resulted in the “uncontrolled release” of water that would have flooded areas 40 feet deep.[v] The Russians began evacuating 60,000 civilians from the region the day prior to the attack.[vi]
- Russian forces are massing for an attack Kiev and the surrounding region. Russian troops are heading to Belarus as that country seems ready to come into the war. Belarus is going into full mobilization. 300K Russian conscripts are heading in to become support troops for the veterans that were serving as support move into the front lines. “China, Egypt, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan issued emergency statements calling for their nationals to leave Kyiv immediately and to leave Ukraine in general as Russia’s shock and awe operation is expected. Their embassies are closing.”[vii]
- October 19th: Fighting has been reported to have begun in Kherson. “Fierce fighting is taking place in Kherson with Russian forces repelling the first Ukrainian offensive in the Berislav region, inflicting casualties on Kyiv.”[viii]
- A Russian fighter intercepted a British spy plane over the Black Sea and fired a missile as a warning. Putin’s Defense Minister called the event a “malfunction.”[ix]
- NATO launched it’s ‘regularly scheduled’ nuclear deterrence drill involving 60 aircraft in Europe.[x]

Mikhail Gorbachev & Ronald Reagan After watching NATO expand to the east, despite its’ 1991 promise not to go past Germany, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov warned “Russia sees no point in maintaining diplomatic presence in the West. It makes no sense, and we have no desire to maintain the same presence in Western countries.” A member of Reagan’s cabinet, James Baker assured Gorbachev and the Russians that we would not move past the borders of a newly united Germany. Here is a portion of text from a State Department Document dated 1991. Discussing the transformation of the Soviet Union with Chairman Gorbachev, Baker said, “I want you to know one thing for certain: The president and I have made clear that we seek no unilateral advantage in this process.” On the next page of the document it reads: “We understand the need for assurances to the countries in the east. If we maintain a presence in a Germany that is part of NATO, there would be no extension of NATO’s jurisdiction for forces of NATO one inch to the east.”
That promise was broken by the Bill Clinton. [Now, of course, Reagan’s promise did not legally bind President Clinton. It did however remain the honorable thing to do.] In 1999 NATO added the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. In 2004, George W Bush added Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria. NATO began consideration for membership for Ukraine & Georgia in 2017 & 2019 respectively. Should Ukraine become part of NATO – and missiles be placed there, they would be 5 minutes from Moscow and as little as 7 minutes flight time to their nuclear arsenal.[xi] [That sounds like a good way to invite a first strike from a Russia, nervous that it would be the victim of a Western first strike.]
Thus, FM Lavrov’s statement becomes more ominous and understandable. “Russia sees no point in maintaining diplomatic presence in the West.” War often follows the breaking off of diplomatic relations. This is not quite that….but it is a step in that direction.
