The situation in Gaza is complex and nuanced. There are seemingly contradictory facts. Yet the Mainstream Press pushes a single narrative. Gaza is starving. And it is all the doing of the Israelis, who are supported in whatever they do by America. There is no crime the US won’t finance. And the MSM will lie to push their narrative.
Days after the October 7, attack by Hamas that killed over 1,200 Israelis and included the baking of babies, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a “complete siege” on Gaza. Vox reported: “From the war’s outset, Israel has been blocking humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip, to varying degrees, resulting in the spread of preventable diseases, including malnutrition, across the territory. In fact, since late 2023, international organizations have been warning that Gaza has been on the brink of famine. And in April of last year, Save the Children confirmed that children had been dying from starvation.”[i] That siege was somewhat lifted later on but was reimposed in early May of this year when the AP reported Israel was cutting off all supplies.[ii] Tucker Carlson interviewed retired Lt Colonel Tony Aguillar, who said that he witnessed war crimes committed by the IDF in Gaza. Yes, some food was provided but the crowds were controlled by firing rounds near the feet and over the heads of the Palestinians rushing to access the food. He called the distribution of food by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, who he said answered directly to the IDF, “shaping operation number one. Displace the population. Move the population. Allow for phase two, the ending of Operation Gideon’s Chariots.” The purpose of that operation was to “clear the center portion” of Gaza.[iii]
The Israeli government has now openly announced their intentions to take military control of all of Gaza. It will be a phased occupation, beginning with Gaza City.
“Phase 1: Israel will issue evacuation notices to roughly 1 million residents, build civilian infrastructure (including hospitals and camps), and coordinate expanded aid distribution with the U.S. (from 4 to 16 sites), funded by $1 billion in international donations.
Phase 2: Israel would launch a military offensive, while President Trump is expected to announce accelerated humanitarian aid efforts. The aim is to pressure Hamas back into hostage talks.
The operation is expected to last weeks to months, with the military pushing residents south and focusing on areas where hostages are held.”[iv]
Prime Minister Netanyahu clarified Israel’s goas vis-à-vis Gaza. “We are not going to occupy Gaza – we are going to free Gaza from Hamas. Gaza will be demilitarized, and a peaceful civilian administration will be established, one that is not the Palestinian Authority, not Hamas, and not any other terrorist organization.”[v]
Now, we are finding out that the campaign to demonize Israel is filled with lies and innuendo. The Washington Post was caught in the act. Here’s a headline from the New York Post detailing the deception. 
“Washington Post admits to faulty reporting on claim that Israel killed dozens of Gazan civilians at aid site.” [Once the damage is done it’s done! Any good lawyer….(is that an oxymorn?….kidding, I need a lawyer…..) or any casual viewer of the Perry Mason Show knows that.] And then there is this. Hamas published a video of a man who was supposedly being starved by the Israelis. But it turns out he had a preexisting condition, like many “other genetically ill children is being used to continue the fake starvation campaign.” Photo-ops are rehearsed and staged. 
Hamas is hijacking the food trucks. The UN says that only about 12% of their trucks get through. Amir Tsarfati: “A fake campaign of starvation circulates AI-generated images, photos from other countries, or pictures of genetically caused diseases — while the world’s media stays silent about the only adults truly being starved: the hostages held by these so-called starvation victims. Humanitarian aid distributed for free is called a ‘death trap,’ yet those who hijack the free aid trucks and resell the supplies at exorbitant prices are hailed as heroes.”[vi]
An AP Middle East reporter related how years ago, he thought it to be about 2008, Hamas began to issue death threats to Arab reporters who were relating the truth about the situation on the ground. Rather than endanger their reporters, the AP – and other news organizations began accepting the official narrative of Hamas. They were in effect, complying with Hamas censorship to ensure the safety of their employees. Now, that’s where we get all the numbers of casualties that the American press runs with. No questions asked! So, the press, is in effect, amplifying Hamas propaganda. Haamas remains who they are – a terrorist organization. They recently released a propaganda video that showed one of the hostages, 24 year old Evyatar David being forced to dig his own grave in one of of the terror tunnels.
So, food shipments are looted and stocked away – or re-sold to the Arab public – by Hamas – and the Israelis and the UN are blamed for the shortages. Yes, there are limitations. Yes, there are rogue elements – some of them quite high-up, that DO limit access to humanitarian supplies. But Hamas is part of the problem.
Here is the info from the American Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.
John Spencer is the executive director at the Urban War Institute at West Point. I want to bring him into the discussion. He makes a very important point. “Israel is delivering fuel, food, medicine, and water into territory still under the command of the very group that murdered its civilians on October 7, that continues to fire rockets into Israeli towns, and that openly declares it will repeat those atrocities again and again.”[vii] Spencer lays out a very logical case. [I LOVE that.] Now, the attack by Hamas occurred on October 7, 2025. “From October 8 forward, Israel’s goals in Gaza, as stated clearly and consistently by its political leadership including the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and members of the war cabinet, have not changed. These goals are:
- Return all hostages
- Dismantle Hamas’s military capabilities and end its political rule in Gaza
- Ensure that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.”
These goals are legal under International Law and just to anyone who has followed the history!
However the Palestinians and the world in general, continue to invoke double standards.
- Some examples: Hamas refuses “to allow civilians to evacuate combat areas, thus forcing Israel to fight Hamas while it uses its entire population and infrastructure as a human shield.”
- Israel provides “humanitarian aid to the enemy’s population during wartime, while battles are ongoing, while the enemy still controls territory, continues to launch attacks, and holds hostages. Israel has done this out of moral responsibility and to balance military objectives with humanitarian imperatives. However, the argument that this is a legal requirement is a double standard.
- Hamas “not allowing civilians the option to escape the war. Preventing civilians who want to leave Gaza from doing so …. affects both Israel and the people of Gaza.”
That’s enough to get the point across. Spencer’s point is this. There are double standards and there is ignorant, uninformed analysis.[viii] I believe it is driven by a commitment to a Leftist-Woke-Anti-American-Anti Christian Ideology that hates Christ & Objective Truth…..and frankly, common sense.
The Palestinians, on the other hand….. “The list of demands Hamas has presented in exchange for releasing the hostages is beyond ridiculous. They won’t release them all until the Gaza Strip is completely restored — in other words, not for the next 30 years. Not to mention, they refuse to disarm.”[ix]
The Palestinian cause has been taken up by the international press. In many circles now, it is calling for the complete destruction of Israel as a state. Here’s a headline I found in my news feed just this morning. It was carried by MSN. “Israel No Longer Has a Right to Exist.” This is the narrative that is being pushed. Here is some of the arguments it makes. “As a political entity, Israel is a witch. Its conduct is incompatible with 21st-century civilization. To whatever extent it ever had one, Israel no longer has a right to exist.” The writer goes on to equate Israel with Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. In that mindset, it calls for the abolishment of Israel, “ensuring that, from the river to the sea, Palestine is free.”[x] It is an old and tired lie. We have made the case here before. The Palestinian people were a creation of the 1960s. They have testified to the artificial nature of that group in their own words. [Check out last-week’s newsletter for more on that.] Amir Tsarfati weighs in. “1968 – Yasser Arafat announced that all Jordanian citizens that are now in Israel controlled Judea and Samaria should be called Palestinians. And thus the Palestinian State idea was born.”[xi]
And there is evidence that much of the current famine is due to the actions of Hamas, itself. Rabbi Frank Lowinger leads a Messianic congregation in suburban Buffalo. He has deep connections to sources on the ground in Israel. In a recent phone call, he described what his sources are telling him. “I hear from people in the Land. Israel is providing ample supplies of food. But, as warlords do around the world, Hamas is ‘seizing the food and selling back to the people at exorbitant prices.’ In addition, they continue to use civilians as human shields. Dead civilians make great propaganda tools. Lowinger summed it up like this. “We live in a wicked world dominated by the father of lies.”[xii]
Writing for the ministry, Operation Exodus USA, John Prosser recently addressed the situation in Gaza. He began by reminding his readers that Gaza was not-so-long-ago controlled by the Israelis. “Twenty years ago, in August 2005, Israel made the painful decision to withdraw from Gaza in a sincere effort to advance peace. Instead, the territory fell under the control of Hamas—a terrorist organization whose rule has brought nearly two decades of violence, instability, and suffering….This year alone, Hamas has fired more than 3,000 rockets into Israeli civilian areas, sowing terror and destruction. Yet their attack is not only physical; it is also a war of misinformation. Hamas continues to spread lies portraying Israel as the oppressor, while exploiting Palestinian suffering to fuel its war machine. They accuse Israel of starving the people in Gaza, even as Israel facilitates the delivery of millions of tons of humanitarian aid—aid which Hamas routinely diverts for military purposes to bring death and destruction to Israel. This cynical strategy deepens Palestinian suffering and seeks to erode international support for Israel’s legitimate right to self-defense.”
Prosser goes on to make the case for the Land belonging to Israel….by decree of God Himself. “Israel’s right to the Land—and to its defense—is not merely political; it is rooted in God’s unchanging Word. In Genesis 12:7, God tells Abraham: ‘To your offspring I will give this land.’ (NIV) This covenant is reaffirmed in Genesis 15:18–21, where God sets the Land’s boundaries, and again to Isaac (Genesis 26:3) and Jacob (Genesis 28:13). Joshua 1:3–4 confirms these promises as the Israelites enter Canaan.”[xiii]
The bottom line is simple. God has promised the Land to Abraham and his decedents. Those are – what we now call – the Jews. [From Judah} They are given a physical homeland in the End Times…and forever. They are the Tribes talked about in the Book of Revelation.
Some people teach that the Israel that now exists is ‘NOT BIBLICAL.’ Some say they are NOT REAL JEWS. But the truth is, God promised the Israelites would return to the Land in the Last Days. “Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.” (Ezekiel 37:21-22 NASB 1995)
Their ultimate return and occupation of the Land God had given them was in place long-before they were scattered by the Romans in AD 70 and again in AD 132. This is one of my favorites! The Prophet Isaiah was given this word before the Jews returned to Israel the first time from their captivity in Babylon. God knew what He was doing right from the beginning. And so it was. They became a nation again in 1948. Isaiah 11:11 – Then it will happen on that day that the Lord Will again recover the second time with His hand The remnant of His people, who will remain, From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, And from the islands of the sea. (Isaiah 11:11 NASB 1995) He knew they were coming back a SECOND TIME!
Some BOTTOM LINE STUFF…..[Even though we don’t know all the facts.]
ISRAEL IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT….in what they do….But they are GOD’S CHOSEN.
HE HAS GIVEN THEM A PLACE IN THE END TIMES!
These are hard verses to interpret. But they are true nonetheless. The Prophet Zechariah tells us that in the Last Days, God will vanquish Israel’s enemies and cause them to recognize the Messiah they have, for the most part, rejected. “For on that day I will begin to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for him as for a firstborn son who has died.” (Zechariah 12:9-10 NLT)
In the Book of Romans, Paul assures us of God’s continuing love for Israel and His chosen people. “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.’” (Romans 11:25-27 NKJV)
