CIA LIED ABOUT OSWALD – The CIA had consistently told the story that they knew nothing about Lee Harvey Oswald before November 22, 1963, the day JFK was assassinated. Now they admit that they lied about it. An AI analysis of all the JFK files released so far gave the game away. “CIA counterintelligence chief James Angleton collected a 194-page dossier on Oswald, the alleged ‘lone gunman,’ between November 1959 and November 1963.” Turns out the CIA, FBI & the State Department all had files on Oswald. There were dozens of agents that touched his case during that time. There was daily surveillance. They even had someone in Dealy Plaza watching him on the day of the assassination,[i]
TEXAS FLOOD – FALLEN WORLD – It is hard to find comfort sometime in a tragedy of this magnitude. Over 100 dead. Many still missing. I am crying as I try to make sense of this. Then I saw a post. “Bad things don’t just happen to good people. They happen to all people.” We live in a fallen world. Psalm 34:18 says “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” That is little consolation when you are in the middle of it. When you’ve lost a child. And how do you console. Mostly just be there. Mostly just trust God. Even when it doesn’t make earthly sense. We are eternal beings. Souls that have temporarily taken on a body. Not the other way around. It is counter intuitive. I get it. But the lost children are part of the future. God’s future. Be sure you are there to join them. “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Make sure you enter by that gate.
THREATENING WAR – Europe is convinced it wants a war with Russia. We’re hoping the drugs wear off. Germany has threatened to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine within the week. They can only be operated by Germans. They are planning to re-institute the draft. Britain & France are preparing “peacekeeping troops where none are welcome. Russia & Ukraine continue to up the intensity of the attacks.[ii]
