How did Israel go from a state that was the victim of a massacre on October 7th, in which its’ enemies raped and slaughtered young women at a concert, abducted and sexually abused others, attacked civilian settlers in the kibbutzim, killed parents in front of children and burned children in front of parents and even baked babies – to a state that is then accused of genocide when they seek to eliminate the perpetrators of those attacks as they hide in hospitals and among the civilian population. It is no secret that Hamas & Hezbollah & the fighters of the Palestinian Authority have long sheltered themselves in schools and other civilian infrastructure after launching attacks against Israeli civilians. That’s just how this game is played. They actually don’t mind the civilian casualties. It provides propaganda which they can use against Israel. Palestinian leaders have said as much in public statements in just the last year.
Israel is NOT just fighting against the Palestinian terror. It also has to take on the United Nations & NGOs like Doctors Without Borders. [Or should that read: Doctors Without Morals?] Let’s start with The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which was established in 1949, shortly after the massive attack on Israel that followed Israel’s declaration of nationhood in 1948.[i] As such, it is committed to the welfare of the Palestinians, a designation that was just created in the 1960s as a political weapon against Israel. The problem is some of its’ operatives are SO committed to the ‘Palestinian’ cause that they engage in violence against Israeli citizens and the Jewish state. This includes participation in October 7th.
Evidence, that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has called “highly credible” has emerged that “roughly a dozen UNRWA staffers participated in Hamas’s October 7 terror onslaught.” Further, the Wall Street Journal published a document alleging around “1,200 Gaza employees of UN agency for Palestinian refugees have connections to either Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.” That number represents 10% of the 12,000-strong UNRWA staff.[ii]
The UNRWA staff members included several teachers, included one who was seen armed with an anti-tank missile, and another who “served as a Hamas commander and participated in the massacre in Kibbutz Be’eri….Of the 12 UNRWA workers accused of participating in the October 7 massacre, seven were reportedly teachers, two were educational consultants and others were humanitarian aid warehouse managers.”[iii]
News of UNRWA’s involvement in the massacre is at least six months old, but now evidence is surfacing yet another group – that poses as a neutral party – being involved in the fight against Israel. That group is Doctors Without Borders or Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). On June 26, it was reported: “An Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft on Tuesday struck and eliminated Fadi Al-Wadiya, who the IDF says ‘served as a significant operative in the [Palestinian] Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.’…. Al-Wadiya’s role in PIJ was to develop and advance the terror group’s rocket array and was reportedly a central figure due to his extensive knowledge of electronics and chemistry.”
From All Israel News: “IDF has identified several doctors who were killed as members of terror groups, including Hamas and PIJ. After the rescue of four Israeli hostages at the beginning of the month, it was discovered that the three male hostages were being held in the home of Ahmed al-Jamal, a doctor with ties to Hamas. In December, a report by Alain Destexhe, a Belgian doctor and the former secretary-general of Doctors Without Borders in the early 1990s, stated the NGO has ‘a systematic bias in favor of Hamas and hostility to Israel’ and that it violates its own charter…. After the first hostage exchange deal in late November, several hostages testified they were held captive in the homes of doctors and UNRWA workers in Gaza.”[iv]
Despite the array of enemies determined to wipe them off the map, Israel continues to be portrayed as the aggressor in this latest round of fighting that began last Fall. “The October 7 attack saw some 3,000 Hamas-led terrorists burst across the border into Israel from Gaza by land, air and sea, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages of all ages — mostly civilians — under the cover of a deluge of thousands of rockets fired at Israeli towns and cities. Entire families were executed in their homes, and over 360 people were slaughtered at an outdoor festival, many amid horrific acts of brutality and sexual assault by the terrorists.”[v] That’s how the war began.
All of this just fits the pattern of the coming history of our future. There is coming a day when the entire global structure will come against Israel and Jerusalem. Here are the words of the Prophet Zechariah, chapter 12, verses 1-4. “The burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: ‘Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.’” Be assured, God wins in the end!
