“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:….A time of war, And a time of peace.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 8)
The world is in a time of decision. We are finely balanced between war and peace….on so many fronts. President Trumps peace initiative in Ukraine gives some hope, yet is fraught with danger. The Russians seem in a mad scramble to occupy more territory before any peace negotiations begin. At times it feels like Zelensky has lost his grasp on reality to the point where he really believes the Ukrainians can win. The US is pushing Iran to abandon its’ nuclear ambitions or face attack and so far, Tehran has categorically refused. And Iran is tied in with Russia. The Ayatollah Khamenei has said that an attack on their nuclear facilities by Israel or America would trigger the targeting of all American bases in the region. Egypt is massing troops and armor against Israel. Syria is coming apart at the seams and poses a danger to Israel. China continues to threaten Taiwan, a nation the US has pledged to defend. And North Korea continues to be the loose cannon it has always been, threatening South Korea, others in the region as well as the United States.
This falls right in line with the New World Order plans. Some years ago, David Bay of Cutting Edge Ministries did some groundbreaking work, reporting on a seminar of the New England Theosophical Society that outlined for the attendees the plans to call forth the New Age Messiah. Bay infiltrated the meeting. Bill Lambert was the Director and featured speaker at the conference. Lambert laid out specific steps that would be used to bring about the New Age Messiah [Antichrist]. We’ll set aside the specifics for perhaps a future article, but he summed it up with this. “The impetus toward this type of settlement is made possible only because of a general fear of war. This fear of war must be maintained until the desired political and religious changes have been instituted.”[i]
That “general fear of war” was the theme of a best-selling book from the early 1980s written by Peter Lemesurier, called The Armageddon Script. The book lays out in detail just how the Illuminati New World Order types plan to maintain the pressure that will create the conditions necessary for the rise of the Antichrist. Lemesurier tells us that the New Age Christ will be humanly produced, – using the fake fulfillment of Messianic prophecies to convince the Jewish authorities of his authenticity. According to the revealed plan of the New World Order types, this New Messiah will rebuild the Jewish Temple and fulfill Daniel’s prophecy by remaining and ruling from Israel for 7 years. So much of that creative process involves wars and conflicts. He was specific in revealing much of the plan.
It involved an Arab-Israeli conflict in which Israel would win an annihilating victory, in the process fulfilling biblical prophecies. A nuclear crisis in Korea that would threaten mankind’s survival. [Quite a far-fetched prediction, written as it was in 1980.] A Chinese invasion of Taiwan, while the US is occupied elsewhere. He tossed out a few other items including catastrophic terror in the West, an economic crisis and stock market crash and the revelation of an alien presence. After these orchestrated events, the New Age Christ – the Man of Peace would appear. He would present himself as Jewish Messiah, Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha rolled into one. [ii]
Let’s take a look at what’s unfolding right now.
UKRAINE – This has been a complicated and ever-changing ride, since Zelensky was tossed out of the White House on February 28. First the Europeans pledged to raise 800 billion euros to support the Ukrainian war effort. But it must have been quickly realized that even should they be able to raise that money, the arms or the ability to produce them quickly did not really exist. Then the Ukrainians launched a massive drone strike against civilian targets in Moscow. While that was going on, the Russians were annihilating Ukrainian forces in Kursk, Russia. The Ukrainians had seized the Russian territory as a bargaining chip in peace negotiations. Now, they were being forced to abandon the enclave and were sustaining huge casualties as they were retreating. President Trump went to bat for the trapped Ukrainian forces, urging “Putin to spare the lives of Ukrainian troops who were ‘completely surrounded.’”[iii] Shortly after, President Putin announced: “We have read today’s appeal by the President of the United States, Mr. Trump, to spare the lives of the Ukrainian army, parts of which are blocked by Russian troops in the invasion zone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region… In case of laying down their arms, they (the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — approx. 10,000) life will be guaranteed.”[iv] The Ukrainian General Staff is denying that the situation is critical, suggesting there is no need to surrender. They issued the following statement on social media.
At first rejecting Trump’s plan to negotiate with Russia, Zelensky was forced to change course. After a meeting in Saudi, the White House announced that the Ukrainians were ready to talk and sent a delegation to Moscow. The idea was a thirty-day cease fire which the Russians immediately rejected saying it would give time for Ukraine to re-arm for further conflict. Moscow is winning and has little incentive right now to negotiate without certain guarantees. Here’s a summary of Putin’s counter-offer, summarized by Hal Turmer Radio.
“Ukraine cannot join NATO or any other military bloc, AND; Ukraine must agree that the territories now-added to Russia from the conflict, are Russian – forever, AND; No deployment of foreign troops on Ukraine territory, for any reason.”[v] That means no NATO peacekeepers in western Ukraine and Russia would keep about 20% of pre-war Ukrainian territory. Those areas are populated by ethnic Russians. The Washington Post reported. “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky long emphasized that Ukraine would not surrender sovereign territory but has more recently moved to an emphasis on security guarantees rather than the immediate return of territory. Russia’s terms also include demilitarizing Ukraine, which would leave the country with a small army incapable of deterring future attacks.”[vi]
The steps toward a peace deal acceptable to both sides are very tricky indeed. But peace is a necessity. Colonel Douglas MacGregor, believes strongly that Putin has no desire to rule all of Ukraine. He points out the Russians have moved deliberately in their advance despite massive advantages. He puts Russian casualties at around 120,000 dead. That’s high. But Ukrainian losses have been significantly higher. Several sources, including Scott Ritter, estimate the Ukrainian dead to be in the 1.2 million range. That level of casualties is unsustainable.[vii]
While President Trump’s instinct here is sound, any move toward peace is a reflection of the new reality. First of all, wars tend to expand. And any expansion could lead to a nuclear conflict between the US and Russia which could easily bring in China on the side of Moscow. So, confrontation is not a wise hand to play. One commentator points out some emerging truths. In his offering, the US led West is the “empire” referred to. “The empire knows it’s losing, but it needs to stage-manage the retreat, to make its inevitable defeat look like a strategic recalibration instead of a humiliating collapse…. NATO is depleted, Ukraine is a graveyard, the EU is bankrupt, and the BRICS+ bloc is expanding by the minute. The global chessboard is shifting from unipolar fantasy to multipolar reality. But Washington can’t afford to admit this outright, not to its vassals, not to its media, and certainly not to the American public already seething over another imperial disaster.” He then goes on to cite Viet Nam and Afghanistan as examples of failed imperialism.[viii]
The British meanwhile – and the Europeans in general – are demanding Russia’s acquiescence to the 30-day cease fire without conditions. While there has been progress toward peace, the situation on the ground right now suggests stalemate. US total involvement in the Ukraine debacle was not an adventure of Trump’s doing. However, he has been thrust with the responsibility of fixing it. His administration might be the only force that can – without leading to a wider, deadly, more dangerous war.
ISRAEL / IRAN / SYRIA / EGYPT – We could keep going and included the Houthis in Yemen and Hamas in Gaza. Hamas must be eliminated. Israel cannot risk another October 7th. The Houthis have vowed to start attacking again when/if the Gaza fight resumes. Egypt has massed tanks and are on a war footing. Iran is very close to a home-grown nuke. They are long-believed to have purchased nukes on the black market after the fall of the Soviet Union. President Trump has been pushing for negotiations and warning of soon coming action against Iran if they don’t agree to give up their nuclear program. Trump talked about the problem. “We have a situation with Iran that something’s going to happen very soon, very, very soon….And hopefully we can have a peace deal. You know, I’m not speaking out of strength or weakness. I’m just saying I’d rather see a peace deal than the other [option], but the other will solve the problem.”[ix] The American and Israeli Air Forces have been conducting joint training. The Iranians have given a firm NO! And that brings us to Syria.
Syria is a mess. There has been a campaign of slaughter going on against religious minorities in that country. From Human Events: “The ongoing violence, which erupted late last week, has forced thousands—including Christians and Alawites—to flee to nearby mountains for safety. more than 1,000 people have been killed, including 745 from Syria’s Christian minority and Alawite sect, 125 from Syria’s government forces, and 148 pro-Assad militants.”[x] Alawites are a minority Muslim sect. One Alawite woman described her experience. She cried “in fear of losing her family after HTS terrorists murdered their neighbors! ‘Hussam Habib, our neighbour, opened the door for them (HTS terrorists) and told them to check his home, but they murdered him in front of his wife and children.’” One of the members of the Nusra group, a spin-off of al-Qaeda, talked about their accomplishments in a video. “We killed 1,500 or 2,000 Alawites, and kidnapped hundreds of them.”[xi]
On Thursday, March 13, it was reported that an Israeli airstrike destroyed a “command center of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which has been based in Damascus since the early 1990s.” Jerusalem went on to warn “Syria’s president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, that “Islamic terrorism will not have immunity in Damascus.” Their motive is to “preempt any military or terrorist threat that could take root in post-Assad Syria.”[xii]
MEXICO – Yeah, Mexico! Our southern border is the “soft strategic underbelly” of America. And according to those that know, outside of Mexico City, the country is largely controlled by the cartels. Colonel Douglas MacGregor warns that this is an existential issue for the United States. The Cartels not only move drugs and people with impunity across the border but now they are a real threat to security in that region. They outgun the police and Border Patrol. A significant portion of the armament we sent to Ukraine has surfaced on the black market and much of it, apparently, ended up in the hands of the Cartels. Several sources confirm that they are in possession of rocket-propelled grenade launchers and self-guided Javelin Missile Systems used as an anti-tank weapon. In addition they have drones for both reconnaissance and offensive operations. It will take US Army to secure the border, says Colonel MacGregor.[xiii]
