When a people loses its’ soul it will start to fail. When a nation loses its’ moral compass it will wander into the wilderness and disaster will surely follow. America, the West are lost in that cultural wilderness. We have played along the edges for so long. And now we are in full-throated rebellion to the God of the Universe, rejecting TRUTH itself. Legalized abortion right up until birth.. Acceptance of homosexuality as normal. The perversion of justice. The creation of dollars from nothing to pay for our avarice. Putting pleasure before substance, the thirst for power above justice. Now we are beginning to reap our just rewards. Hosea 8:7: “They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind.” Daniel 5 tells the story of the fall of ancient Babylon. 
King Belshazzar gave a feast for a thousand of his lords, even while the enemy was at the gates. In the course of the celebration, the King called for “the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple of the house of God which had been in Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone. In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king’s countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other.” (Daniel 5:3-6)
The Prophet Daniel was brought in to interpret the words written on the wall. He began by telling the King that he was judged by the Most High God, because he had not humbled himself. Then he interpreted the words that were written on the wall. They were: “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel 5:25-28) Witnessing the crash – in so many areas – that is fast gaining momentum, we can conclude that the days of the American Empire have been numbered. The American Republic has suffered critical wounds. We need only look at it’s compromised election processes and two-tiered justice system to realize we have wandered far from the God of its’ founding. The United States – and with it the West – has wandered far down a road that bears no fruit. In Wokeness we have succumbed to the temptation to become our own gods. We have set aside God’s laws with regard to sexuality and gender. We blithely take the lives of the unborn. And now the consequent fruit of judgement is beginning to fall. It is unraveling in many areas.
JUSTICE
The Trump indictment is the most recent piece of evidence that our justice system is nothing of the sort. It is a political prosecution. DA Bragg, who campaigned on a ‘I’ll get Trump’ platform, is trying to shoehorn an expired bookkeeping discrepancy, well past the statute of limitations into 34 felonies. Legal scholars from both sides of the aisle find nothing there. The indictment does not even include the crime that is to undergird the rest of the charges. But a jury in New York could still convict him. The bipartisan legal analysis however: The indictment is a nothing burger.- The Biden Family is totally protected – no matter the evidence. “The House Oversight Committee keeps finding more bank evidence that the Biden family appears compromised by foreign payments.”[i] Biden’s boxes of classified documents all over the map. The latest cache was found in DC’s Chinatown.
- The January 6th They are still locked up. Still without trial. Awaiting justice?
OIL & ENERGY
- Led by the Saudis, OPEC cut oil production by 500,000 barrels per day. Russia did the same. They are determined to keep the prices high.
- Here in America, the Biden regime refuses to drill for more oil and is bent on shutting down the safe and plentiful supply of natural gas.
