WOKERY GONE BERSERK
This was part of the Olympic Opening Ceremony, supposedly to honor the athletes from around the world. But it was anything but. It wasn’t just the mockery of Jesus and His disciples at the Last Supper. Though that scene was carefully staged to imitate the setting Da Vinci’s painting, with however the picture populated by fat drag queens. It was the fact that we were told it was those of us who objected that were narrow bigoted, narrow-minded and ignorant. This was, we were told, a replay of a feast of the gods hosted by Dionysus, the god of wine. Archbishop Vigano, long an enemy of the current Pope described the scene well. “We witnessed a dystopian dance macabre in which holograms of the horsemen of the Apocalypse alternated with a plump blue Dionysius, served under a bell of various courses; the parody of the LGBTQ+ Last Supper, the truculent performance of a decapitated Marie Antoinette singing Ça ira called to celebrate the horrors of the French Revolution; the ballets of bearded transvestites and effeminate dancers accompanied by pitiful mime singers.” He went on to characterize those in charge of the display as satanic minions who “humiliate woman’s femininity in order to erase the motherhood that recalls the Virgin Mother; they castrate man’s manhood in order to tear from him the image of God’s fatherhood; they corrupt the little ones in order to kill innocence in them and make them victims of the most abject wokeism.”[i]
The scenes celebrated what the Bible calls abomination. It honored the spirit of the French Revolution which gave us the Reign of Terror and – in an anti-religious frenzy – the mass beheadings of priests and nuns. [With the exception of the American Revolution, revolutionary movements are by their nature, against Christianity.] Viewers witnessed a rider on a pale horse, obviously borrowing its’ imagery from the Book of Revelation. “So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” (Revelation 6:8) Was that supposed to be predictive programing? The 2012 Olympics held in London showed “nurses dancing around hospital beds and a death-like figure looming above.” It was later said to presage the then coming COVID Pandemic. Of course, those claims are always denied by the usual suspects – the mainstream press.[ii]
And what would an Olympic Opening Ceremony be without a ménage à trois sequence, a man with his ‘package’ hanging out – and a golden calf, reminiscent of the one worshipped by the Israelites when Moses remained on Mount Sinai after receiving the Ten Commandments.
One Paris official defended the performance as achieving its’ goal of showing tolerance. And there was no regret among Frane’s Queer community. “French LGBTQ leader James Leperlier suggested that the Opening Ceremony didn’t go far enough. ‘We know in the LGBTQ community in France we are far from what the ceremony showed. There’s much progress to do in society regarding transgender people.’”[iii]
God is a God of mercy. But He is also a God of justice. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)
