Would the pottery say to the potter “You have not made me right?” Would an ant shake his fist at a human and say “You have no power over me?” When I think about these statements I’m reminded of mankind’s attitude towards God. Revelation 1:4 tells us God not only exists today, but has always existed and will always exist. He is constant and never changing. Hebrews 13:8 say’s “ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” The words God inspired men to write in the 66 books of the Bible are concrete, permanent and infinitely hold true! God’s Word is our road map giving us clear direction in life. He promises blessings when we follow his instructions and warns us of what’s ahead when we don’t. Last time we began our review of 2015, looking especially at the news through a prophetic lens. We spoke of the advance of the Gay Agenda and the sea change that represents. The legalization of same-sex marriage and the massive swing in public opinion toward acceptance of deviant lifestyles mark a turning point in Western culture. So too, the continued institutionalization of legalized abortion is an indicator of a society in moral decline.
