Naghmeh Abedini Posts about Her Personal Journey to Denounce Islam – “Nagmeh, the wife of imprisoned American Pastor Saeed Abedini, kicked off her new year with a three-week fast.” In a Facebook post Monday, she said, “The focus of the fast is to spend more time in the presence of the Lord and to draw closer to the heart of God. Man-made religions are all empty labels that will not give us access to God. Access to God is only possible through Jesus Christ”, she said. Late last year, Naghmeh pulled back her public fight to see her husband freed from prison in Iran.
