If one understood them, the signs were quite jarring. Homosexual marriage has been the law of the land since the Supreme Court said so during the Obama years. Yet we had the Democrat Congress and Joe Biden reiterate its’ legality and celebrate it with a LGBT love fest that included Drag Queens and calls for the protection of the right for doctors to sexually mutilate our children. OK, so that’s the Dems, primarily. But not to be outdone there was a little event that was put on by former President Trump at Mara Lago. Here’s a headline from Life Site News. 
“Trump hosts gala for homosexual Republicans at Mar-a-Lago after Biden signs same-sex ‘marriage’ law.” Not to be outdone by Biden’s support of the inaptly named, “Respect for Marriage Act,” Trump announced, “We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard.” Kari Lake was there too, to signal her support.[i] The country may have moved on to casually accept this position, but I can assure you, God has not! Hebrews 13:8 tells us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Then go back to Leviticus 18:22. “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Here’s Jesus Himself, as recorded in Matthew 5:1: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” Those laws did not go away with the coming of Jesus. Homosexuality is not the worse sin, but it is one that will be dealt with. Here is what Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth. “Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

In that passage from 1 Corinthians quoted above, homosexuals and sodomites are excluded from the Kingdom of God…but only right along with adulterers and thieves and drunkards. It is axiomatic that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) Yet there is that good news. Notice how this all works. “The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Yet if you repent of that life, (drunkenness, thievery, sodomy, – whatever it is), there is the promise of forgiveness. But “such were some of you. But you were washed” and sanctified and justified. We are all called to repent! “If you love Me, keep My commandments,” said Jesus in John 14:15. Then this promise is given in verses 23 & 24, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep my word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words.” Jesus said again in John 7:16, “You will know them by their fruits.”
And so, we had this situation at the White House. It was just a few weeks ago that Biden hosted Dylan Mulvaney, the trans Tik Tok star at the praising he/she for their courage….or however you say it. Biden made a point of calling the anti-mutilation bans in some states, calling them “outrageous” and “immoral.”[ii] Now, at the Respect for Marriage event, the administration had a couple of drag queens at the event. Politicians and queens alike, all partied to Lady Gaga’s song, ‘Born This Way.’
Well, the bill signing was attended by Marti Cummings and Brita Filter. One of Cummings’ claims to fame was when it tweeted out, “’The kids are out to sing and suck d.” Yeah, you read that right. Last August, Brita Filter ‘performed’ at the Grace Church High School in Manhattan, where the students were ‘pressured’ to enjoy the show. All of this, of course, is about spreading the LGBTQ culture. That’s what the Drag Queen Story Hours are all about at our local libraries. Taxpayer money is used to force this perverted filth on our children. The founder of DQSH is a transgender going by the name of Michelle Tea. She admitted this was all about the normalization of the “LGBTQ+ culture.” Bill Donohue of CNS News writes:
“The American Library Association (ALA) is responsible for the spread of DQSH across the country; local libraries pay homosexuals to run the events. A blog post to the ALA a few years ago encouraged librarians to promote the LGBT agenda by ‘sneakily fit[ting] stuff in current programs.’ Sneaking it by parents, of course. One of the most popular books stocked by libraries is The Gender Fairy. It is meant for infants. It tells them ‘only you know whether you are a boy to girl. No one can tell you.’ Again, this is aimed at subverting parental rights. Similarly, a teacher was caught on video telling her class, ‘It’s OK to be different. There is no such thing as ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ things.’ The students were first graders. It’s all about ‘gender fluidity,’ the intentional warping of children’s minds, beckoning them to question whether they are really happy being a boy or a girl. This is called grooming. It is also child abuse.”[iii]
This is going on in the same White House where Lincoln & TR & FDR & Kennedy tackled the real problems of the world. Where decisions were made regarding war and peace and civil rights. Now, America has become a nation that has lost its’ way. It is much the same in most of the West. America was never a perfect country. But it was a nation founded on godly principles with the intention of advancing the Gospel and doing God’s will. Yes, there was slavery, but many believed that it was an institution that would gradually die out – until the invention of the cotton gin in 1793 made cotton growing and therefore slavery – a very profitable institution. Still, we paid the national price that price in hundreds of thousands of lives in the Civil War. And admittedly, the journey toward equality took some time after that.
The American ethic, the American experiment, imperfect as it was, periodically takes stock of itself – and re-orients and improves on the model with enhanced freedoms and increased liberty. In the last several decades however, it has suffered some grievous blows. This nation was originally founded on Judeo-Christian principles that enshrined the freedoms enumerated – (but NOT given) – in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Those rights were given by God and are the natural outworking of the understanding that we are all God’s creatures. These principles were laid down from the very beginning. At Jamestown, VA in 1607. That colony was dedicated to the God of the Bible. It happened again with the Mayflower Compact in 1620. The Pilgrims voluntarily entered into a governmental covenant “undertaken for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith and Honour of our King and Country.” Our Christian heritage was confirmed yet again when President Washington’s first inaugural turned into a spontaneous prayer meeting that went on for hours. But we have drifted far from these beginnings since especially the middle of the last century.
But to use the word “drifted” is perhaps to mislead. Much of this drift was pre-planned by revolutionary Marxists that wormed their way into positions of power and influence in the American culture. There exists a line of influence that leads from the Karl Marx himself through the Alinsky-ites of the 60s to Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA of today. Our current American culture has been – to a large degree – coopted through a planned infiltration of key institutions. Many have written of the Communist goals entered into the Congressional Record by Rep Albert Herlong Jr of Florida in 1963. There were dozens, but here are just a few. “Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind… Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States…. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks….Infiltrate the press…. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity…. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.… Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, healthy.’” [iv]
Larry Taunton of the Fixed Point Foundation explained the resulting dynamic. Unlike Russia, which fell to revolution in 1917, Brits and Americans resisted the call to overthrow their systems and replace them with socialism. Much of that resistance was due to the strong Christian foundations found in those nations. The upper class and “proletarians” were anchored by the “messages of the forgiveness, hope, and meaning to be found in the person of Jesus Christ.” Marx had died believing that revolution would come to the West. Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci believed “Marx had grossly underestimated the strength of Western society. In 1917 Russia, an armed insurrection had worked because the state and its primary institutional support, the Russian Orthodox Church, were weak and rotten.” Not so, in Britain and America. Marxian theory divided the world into ‘haves and have nots.’ Gramsci recognized a multiplicity of power structures that each served to protect the Capitalist system. These included “families, education, government, morality, the church, law, and civil society as a whole.” Thus, the stealth assault on each of these institutions. This infiltration would provide the softening up for the final take-down. “Gramsci’s strategy was, in effect, that of the Trojan Horse.”
Gramsci himself wrote of “first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society.” Taunton writes: “Subvert families, traditional morality, and the touchstones of national identity, and penetrate educational institutions, the church, and the legal system, and eventually that country will fall like a ripe fruit into the hands of Marxists.” That is what is called Cultural Marxism. And that is what we have seen here in the United States and the nations of the West for decades now.
This has bequeathed us a heritage of cultural decay expressed in such phenomena as the legalization of Gay Marriage, the existence of 12,000 genders, the winked-at destruction of cities through rioting, the opening of the border to millions of unvetted immigrants – and the general sense of victimhood that has overtaken the culture. The goal of the Marxists was to divide society into oppressed victim groups. Traditional marriage and families became a target because they serve as “instruments of oppression.” “The church, with its message of peace and otherworldly bliss, oppresses the masses by sapping them of their revolutionary spirit.” Schools and Universities taught a form of patriotism that protected the system. This paradigm produced something called Critical Race Theory. In their addled minds, America is riddled with ‘Systemic Racism.’ If you are Black you are by definition oppressed. If you are white you are an oppressor. And conveniently this serves as the moral platform for reparations for slavery. But the victimhood does not stop there. “Women are victims of men; non-heterosexuals are victims of ‘heteronormativity’; non-Christians are victims of ‘Christian hegemony’; non-Americans are victims of Americans, and on and on it goes.” This then becomes the platform upon which the socialist revolution can be built. ‘You owe me!’ “What is yours should be mine. Indeed, I have the right to take it—by force, if necessary.” Marxists point to this as Social Justice. Summing up, Larry Taunton offers this retort. “This isn’t about social justice. It is a pretext for injustice. It is about the weaponizing of a fictional guilt for the seizure of assets and power. History has demonstrated all too well that Death and Hell follow Marxism wherever it goes.”[v] They are calling this latest iteration, The Great Reset where private property will be all but outlawed.
The destruction of American morality and the Judeo-Christian foundations of this country will serve well to move the population into the Antichrist Kingdom of the Tribulation. We have entered an era wherein we have become obsessed with self. The Apostle Paul warns, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God”
