THE ROAD TO WAR

I’m going to begin this with a rather informal compilation of my notes for the second EMERGENCY PODCAST I put out this week.  It was dated April 11^th.  That podcast begins with a review of the key points of the first EMERGENCY PODCAST put out on April 9^th.

• 

  IRAN is threatening to strike Israel in retaliation for the destruction of a building next to the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, Syria. Several Iranian Generals and Hezbollah leaders were killed in the attack

• Early in the week, the Syrian Pres & Family were evacuated to a Russian Military Base
• Iran announced to Air Traffic Control – Missile launches coming
• Was reported: US & Iran had an agreement – US would stand down if Iran hit Israel in retaliation
• [Jump to the present] – Iran’s Foreign Minister says US is responsible for the attack
• Iran reported to have nuclear missiles in Venezuela
• Steve Quayle: Middle Eastern terror cells have been given go ahead to target American infrastructure….dams, bridges, power plants, arms manufacturers….
  • Talking about Hezbollah, Iranians proper, other terror groups from the region….
• NOW MSM IS REPORTING – Bloomberg Business News = “major missile or drone strikes by Iran or its proxies against military and government targets in Israel are imminent.”
• BIDEN = ‘As I told Prime Minister Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad. Let me say it again: ironclad. We’re going to do all we can to protect Israel security,’
• INTEL KEEPS CHANGING – BLOOMBERG = Israeli and US officials have shifted their assessments of when Iran will retaliate for the Israeli bombing of Iran’s Embassy compound in Damascus, from last Friday, to today, and now to this Friday or later. …. Either the intelligence is repeatedly faulty, or Iran is stalling for time.
• Sources claim the US Fifth Fleet in the Persian Gulf went to 100% combat readiness on the evening of April 10^th, Wednesday
• Iranian Military is in a “state of war” – All leaves cancelled – All units on alert
• International flights to Iran were cancelled
• Israeli War Cabinet has / is meeting
• REPORT: Diplomats from the US, France and the UK evacuated Israel Wednesday, April 10^th
• REPORTS & SPECULATION: Israel may use Iranian strikes on its’ territory as an excuse to go after Iranian nuclear facilities
• Iranian Member of Parliament = “If Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear facilities then we will strike Israel’s Dimona nuclear facility in 400 seconds.”
• ONE THEORY: Iran could overwhelm Israeli missiles by launching several hundred missiles at Israeli territory…..That could be too much for the Iron Dome system, the David’s Sling system, the Arrow system and the C-Dome….Once out of anti-missiles, the systems themselves could be destroyed – followed by the taking out of strategic Israeli targets….
• Iran is said to be at most, just a few weeks away from producing at minimum, THREE – homegrown nuclear bombs
• It was reported by some sources, including a Russian general, that Iran had nukes – That was over a decade ago….
• TIMES OF ISRAEL – pointed out that Iran could use a nuclear weapon to launch an EMP bomb that could fry Israel’s electrical grid
• Israel has an electronic warfare – defensive / offensive weapon of its’ own. The Scorpius System.  It sends “narrowly targeted beams of energy that disrupt enemy electronic sensors, navigation, radar or other electronic activity.”  It can send these “beams without interfering with unintended targets.”  It can disable planes, missiles and drones.

  

  
• An American official told the Qatari network Al-Jazeera that if Israel is attacked by Iran or its proxies the U.S. will help its defense and will not rule out a retaliatory action against Iran. (Lior Ben Ari)
• The US official also says that If Israel is attacked by missiles and drones, the US may help intercept them”
• Things have been heating up on Israel’s northern front with Israel and Hezbollah trading attacks on each other’s positions….
• Member of the Israeli War Council, Benny Gantz said this afternoon: “The war against Hamas will continue, and our soldiers will fight in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.”

UKRAINIAN FRONT

• RUSSIA HAS UPED THE ANTE – Going after critical infrastructure in Ukraine – The Ukraine cities of Kharkov, the capital Kiev, and Lvov were all on the Russian target list last night, and all three cities took several, serious, explosions as Russian missiles and/or Drones, were used….Several other cities were hit as well…
• Russia has surprisingly, for the most part, left Kiev alone. There were some infrastructure attacks early in the war….But then Kiev was not a main target of the Russians….
• The Russians hit some power plants, electric substations, energy facilities, a thermal power plant ….
• Hal Turner Headline: Russia Obliterates ~$100 Million in U.S. Supplied Howitzers in Ukraine….In a single strike the Russians destroyed 20 to 30 howitzers costing about $5 million each…

SUBSEQUENT DEVELOPMENTS

• Using Germany as a middleman, Iran confirmed to the United States that it is indeed planning a large scale attack against Israel.
• Hal Turner Radio reports that Israel has “confirmed” that when that happens, “they will counter-attack inside Iran, and go after Iran’s nuclear program sites.”
• HTR: “According to U.S. Officials, a Rotation of Combat Aircraft with the Israeli Air Force have remained Airborne patrols for the last 48 Hours along their Northern, Eastern, and Southern Borders with other Squadrons in the North of the Country in a “High Alert Status” able to Scramble.”[i]

• 

  The tide may be shifting and the rush toward massive escalation slowing down. From Axios: “Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told his German counterpart on Thursday that Iran is determined to respond to Israel’s bombing of its consular building in Damascus last week, but will do so in an “appropriate” and limited way.”[ii]  So, maybe there is light at the end of this tunnel.
