Just look at the empty grocery shelves and you know what is coming. Even the mainstream press is starting to notice. [Welcome up, boys & girls!] Yahoo News: “U.S. grocery shortages deepen as pandemic dries supplies.” Of course, they blame it on Covid. Though they did get the truck driver shortage right, which has doubled the freight costs for moving fruits and vegetables.[i] Zero Hedge got more to the point with its’ headline. “Global Economy Heading For ‘Mother of All’ Supply Chain Shocks.” Due to its’ “Covid Zero” policy, China has been locking down its’ pexorts. “The consequence of closing down all of these ports is that there is going to be a total blockage of exports from China to the West that we depend on to make the things that people buy.” The closings are starting to hit the regional supply chains already. And you can add in the likelihood that the Fed is expected to hike interest rates four times this year, which should really slow down the global economy.[ii] Then there’s the coming Canadian trucker’s strike set to go January 23rd. And believe me that will affect the US supply chain too. The truckers are protesting vaccine mandates. It’s expected that between 16,000 to 38,000 daily loads will be affected. 20% of Canadian drivers are unvaccinated. So, we’re looking at not only shortages – but also highly inflated prices for the products that do get through.
With products not coming through from both Canada and China we can expect to see shortages in electronics, car parts, pharmaceuticals, clothing – and of course, the food supply. Throw in that meat inspectors are in short supply in American plants – I’ve heard 30% – and so we can expect a meat shortage on top of all this. (Not allowed to pack meat without a Federal Inspector.)
Trouble seems to be spreading from the trucking industry to the railroads. “This past October, 2021, one of America’s largest railroads, Union Pacific, began a legal battle with its union workers over Biden’s jab mandate. The CEO of Union Pacific wanted to force this mandate upon his workers, and in return, they threatened to strike…. As of January 13, these workers, as well as others from other train-related unions have begun steps to go on strike. A recent attendance policy change has proven to be the final straw, and now, The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, which contains 17,000 members, and the BNSF have also joined the fray, with threats of strike.”[iii]
And if that isn’t enough, with less than 20% or the world’s population, China is stocking over half of some of the world’s grain supplies. Headline: “China is piling up unprecedented quantities of food, inflating prices and dropping more countries into famine: 69% of world’s maize reserves, 60% of its rice and 51% of its wheat.”[iv]
Here’s one response to all of this. “DARPA is funding the creation of 3D printed food from ‘mixed waste,’ to be served ‘when traditional food is unavailable.’” Oh, it gets better when you hear the details. (Remember, this is all part of The Great Reset or the coming New World Order.) The “mixed waste” refers to the fact they are fashioning “cellular biomass into safe, visually appealing, edible and palatable food that can support the military and civilians when traditional food is unavailable.” The process uses “local feedstock and mixed waste to rapidly produce a wide range of on-demand products, ranging from potable water and ‘edible macronutrients.’”[v]
